@Kardagan, sounds like ace is also changing those hit values. Perhaps ingame, ACE mod options allow option to change this? I don't use ACE so can't help here.

FoxFort , im using ace and seems like your mod isn't isn't working with ace. This is same for Death and Hit reactions. Its working great but hit animations still present :steamsad:

Unfortunately its not working for me. Use Death and hit reactions instead to disable hit animations

Well it's signed, so server should detect it. However it's a very simple line change in code, so should be working as client side only. Give it a go and let me know

I gave it a try, it's ok and the hit animations look better than vanilla but it adds in extra animations that I'm not really into

There is a very good addon KKA3 Injured Animations , this one really improves visually how it looks when being shot. You don't need to use my No Hit Animation then

@Van, I haven't removed hit animation, I've only increase the minimal damage until it starts "playing". Your sniper rifle is 50cal, that will stil activated animation.

@sv_spud, easier said than done. Besides i haven't removed physics at all. Just increased damage limit for hit animation to play.

@FoxFort Sad to me... I can assume that jump related to regdoll physics, is it possible to disable regdoll at all, if the unit is in prone? By the way, jumps happen not only from prone, for example, crouch stance also creates a jump, but a little smaller height. All these jumps and the ugly hit reactions are the most disgusting thing in Arma3. If someone could ever fix it, then for me it would be an incredible event! But after all, after 6 years of hopes, I hardly believe it.

I didn't mean "fix ragdoll" mods. I meant REMOVE ragdoll. ArmA2 had animation not ragdoll for instance.

@FoxFort moderator with name @FallujahMedic -FM deleted my topic by motivating it with the fact that I posted a post about a mistake not in the right place. LOL! The bastard deleted the petition at the moment when this petition gathered the voices of users! I'm annoyed. I made a video and wanted to correct shameful mistakes, but some bastard just crossed it out.

This moderator does not remove dozens of other error messages on the developer branch. He deleted only my post. Probably there are no developers left in BIS who are able to understand something and it is easier for them to remove errors reminders from the users' eyes, than to finally fix it. Apparently "Bug and Arma" - these are two things that can not exist without each other.

@FoxFort Please try to find your own solution.

In other notes, dev "reyhard" came back to me, I got some help. On weekend I'll try to work again in order make something with bodies jumping and try to bring some animation back. But don't expect much guys, I'll try.

@flamesoff a petition always has a chance if it is supported by many users. It's still more realistic than expecting the game to change its engine to "UE4 or something good"

The game has no developers support, so there's no sense in making petitions or something. Hope Arma 4 will have truly new engine, maybe UE4 or something good, instead of this custom buggy shit.

I raised a question on the BIS forum in the developer branch. All mentioned problems are related to Prone. Jumping dead bodies are also included in this discussion.
