This is fixable by creating an empty mod in your kenshi mods folder, then copying all the modded texture files from the mod's workshop folder (including the files' parent subfolders like "Armor" etc) and placing them inside the new mod folder. This will simply directly replace all the armor old skins with the new ones when the mod is enabled. If you want to use both then you will have to design an actual mod with new items that link to these textures. Personally there is nothing other than possibly the heart protector that I would want to use the old way so it was a good fix. This is also pretty much how the original author forces you to do it on the nexus page - I was surprised to see this steam version promising separate crafting entries and being able to use both old and new armor textures in parallel, but judging from the comments it doesn't exactly work that way regardless.

Can't seem to find the pate armor in FCS, I can find the widegap chainmail ones. What is the plate armor supposed to be called?

The problem is with the smithing buildings not being able to produce the armors. (I did fix it, but I was lazy and just placed them all on the clothing bench.)

After some thorough testing, removing any mods that would conflict with this, putting it at the bottom of the load order, and both importing and starting from scratch both the Barkeep and Freedom Seekers start, I can't get this to work. Not cloth, leather, chain, or plate variants shows up in my crafting lists after fully researching, and I can't seem to find any of the blueprints in the shops either, if they are even available individually.

Could we get some info on what exactly it does/changes in the description, and perhaps test it out to see if it works? Thank you! I'll continue testing to see if I can get it working on my end.

The plate armor ones is unlocked by buying the blueprints from someone with armor in the name.

The majority is unlocked via crafting.
