@CosmicFurFace totally agree with you. A CS2 is absolutely needed, now the game is so resources consuming. I have a quite good PC (32GB RAM and 4GB graphics) and is hard to handle more than 500 assets and an HD resolution. Let's hope that will be improved with the sequel.
Will C:S2 have a "measure" tool as @inguy24 yearns for? If not, will @Keallu be inclined to take this code and fit it into the new game's modding environment? And will our hopes for a better modding environment from Day 1 be fulfilled?
Unless something strategically self-destructive as "banning" mods is implemented, I think (and hope) many existing modders could be itching to get started in the new environment.
Furthermore, I cannot see the measurement as I drag between selecting the first measure point and the second, makes it hard to use for measuring for sign placement, etc. (i.e. I need to see when I have hit 1 mile, not keep taking measurements until I get close.)
Perhaps I am using this wrong, but I followed the documentation that was on this page. For the reasons stated above, I have found I don't really use this mod at all. Hopefully you are looking to update the mod to add needed functionality in the future. It is a nice concept though.

it make the info panel not appear.
Measure It! is fully compatible with Plazas & Promenades DLC.
Please follow the Plazas & Promenades DLC Compatible modlist.
I cannot mark mort than just the 2 end-points, because MI only allows me to have 2 points down at a time--every time I left click to put down a third point, the first point disappears.
The problem, actually, is not the M button. The infobox just appears for measuring between points, and disappears as soon as I use the road drawing tool, while the M remains lighted. The infobox should be fixed on the same position.
i was able to figure out how to move the icon though so now i can have both installed probably. i thought the UI for this would just automatically come up when measuring roads
is my ability to read insufficient, i feel like i'm just missing something obvious
Try deleting the config file and then restart the game.
