OMG, thank you for the compliment! Its greatly appreciated :) Yes I had too many mods using 5.56 original ammo so this was the way I solved it for many people :)

This mod is an essential part of starting a game with DNSK, thank you! However, we eagerly await the implementation of the new ammo! Of course this still works, it's just strange to start the game with ammo you will never see the likes of again! Or be able to disassemble for the Mg for something else... Also, if you do update this, do you think you will keep the rifle in the loadout, or perhaps replace it with a pistol? I personally like the pistol! But either is fine!

Survival kits never could and are not supposed to make survival rations. you have to build the emergency ration unit from the DNSK mod.

The weapons need to be updated from rifle and the pre-update NATO magazines to the new pistol and magazines used by vanilla pods.

Also, survival kits do not appear to make emergency rations. Shouldn't the pods have an emergency food source on board instead of just a few rations?

Ah, your using it on Local / Keen DS vs a Torch server.... yes load order is a thing on many mods.

i was thrown by the overriding behavior of the mod list being reversed from what i would assume. placing this at the top made it work, rather than the bottom

Load order / another mod loading new pods over this one. Tests fine on its own ( with it and DNSK in world only )

this doesn't appear to be working for me anymore? I don't know what happened, but this mod is loaded into my server but suddenly the rovers being spawned are the ones *without* the emergency rations kit? It was working fine on the last patch.

OK folks, from the maker of the the Overhaul Mod, you can still build ANY item that used the vanilla parts, "it's in as the "Mod Compatibility Assembler", so any mod component that would normally end up in the vanilla assembler list goes to that" ( from Clockwork168 )

No, as below, it does not. It only added the supplies as in the description, you still need to make the equipment. Think Emergency Survival kit from an airplane or in a life raft.

Yeah i guess for me its since i play with the industrial overhaul mod i cannot make it in the beginning. for server use i have to spawn it on every ship at the moment.

the Erats cube is simple to build and its not available in large block so the space spawn ship would not be possible...... thus fair start for all who use. I have other respawn mods that include it.

Okay, so, the only thing that's different about the save that won't work and the save that does is that several of the mods in both load orders are packed in AQD packs in the one that doesn't work. But there are no mods that, aside from this, affect respawn ships.

Having difficulty getting this to work; tried loading it before and after Daily Needs, but the tools, extra ammo, emergency rations and the drinking water packets don't spawn in the cockpit of the moon drop pod or the seat of the planetary drop pod. Haven't tested with the space pod, but I'm going to assume that it's also affected.

Sorry but due to a recent SSD crash, alot of my smaller mods ( this being one of them ) master files vanished ( recovery pending under warranty data plan ) so at this time i wont be able to help you with that.

That Said, without that file they wont appear as pods for the Respawn.....

At first: I love "Daily Needs". So thanks for that. =)

Now I've a problem. I wanted to use it for my Hardcore Survival Server - of cause with credits and links to all mods ;) - (including other mods like "Scarce Ressources" etc.) and I wanted to run my own Respawn-Mod I made last year.
Now I've the problem that Keen obviously changed it and I don't find my failure. I want new players to spawn only on my created Earthlike-DropPod. I don't find the way to dissable the other vanilla pods. Earlier it worked with <ship enabled="false"> but now...

I wanted to ask you to help me if it doesn't make trouble to you. =)

I was wondering if it would be alright to alter and re-post this mod for use on my server. The only change I will be making is swapping out the planetary drop pods with the moon rovers.

your not the only one, Keens changed something and alot of modded cockpits cryos and others have had weird animations happening, it may not have been the mods fault but its up to the modder to solve...le sigh

@Annastasya Yeah, I've already reported the issue to the mod author for the ARCM Cockpit, Khorne, I think it is. I started having that issue a few days ago.

this has nothing to do with character positions, those positioning and animation files dont exist in this mod.

For some reason when playing with a female character in the ARCM cockpit the sitting position is so that you are back one block and down two blocks... so you are sitting inside the seat such that your visor opening is in the middle of where the back of the seat curves upwards. The male character sits just fine when my friend sits in the seat however.
