I doubt that anyone will read this, haven't played since march. Have Klei improved coal delivery? Seems that this mod still doesn't work.

I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say it was the automation update that has broken this. This is a very handy mod that i could live without but my dupes would run out of power quickly.i hope it gets fixed soon

Hi, mod will not load even when it's the only mod active in the new ONI build.

yep, still crashing, I disabled it and you can see the difference, dupes don't bring coal and the generators are set to 9

This mod fixes one major ingame issue with the coal generators IMO.

The mod does not help! I used a tree in this game .... these stupid freaks barely carry a tree in a drawer and all they can in priority 9 is run up and refuel only 1 out of 6 this is killing me! I want hellish torment to the developer of this game

I got it to work ... went to \Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\457140\1770183323 and removed the *.bin (renaming it kills ONI even if the mod is not enabled) and made steam re download the mod. (I had previously tried uninstalling and re-installing the mod)

also dont have advanced storage. your mods broke in some way man.

Dont have advanced storage. Still getting the "unauthorized access when writing to klei/ONI/mods/steam/1770183323" error after uninstalling and reinstalling the mod. manual setting write access to the file just results in the game black hole'ing instead of giving the error when restarting after enabling the mod

Thank for the quick respond. I did tried to load both and it fail (but the error came from AS), then when I tried to load only this mod, the error log only point to this mod so I thought they might be conflicted/related. I am sorry that I may waste your time.

Looking at the source code for advance storage doesn't give me any indication of a conflict. However people complain that AS is broken right now and ONI can decide to mark multiple or all loaded mods as broken if one of them crashes.

I will not look any further into a potiential conflict until we know for sure the two mods can be loaded one at the time and both work while loading both fails.

I believe the mod is conflicted with Advance storage.

There might be some interaction with another mod... Right now, with only this mod I get a black hole. If there's other mods enabled, I get the Permission error and I can play with the other mods.

The fix works for me too. Just reinstall the mod. Then you will see the green sign on the mod menu. Enable it. Load the save. Enjoy.

The fix works for me. I just tried using the one I got from Steam. If it still doesn't work for you, then either Steam gave you an outdated mod (I thought that bug was fixed) or there is a conflict with another mod.

I don't really know what to do other than I already did, which is to upload a mod, which works for me.

Your mod is really helpfull by the way, thats why people take notice it stops working

Klei added a new tooltip. I didn't have code for that, hence the failure to load. Copy pasting Klei's new tooltip for the battery threshold slider fixed the issue.

ya im getting an unauthorized access error after the update. all the other mods activate fine but as soon as i check the coal mod and restart.... it throws the error and restarts without the mod loaded

if i make a local mod folder and load the github version it just gives me the black hole crash screen

I think the Latest Hotfix broke this mod. Just letting you know, It worked before but now its red in the menu and enabling it results in restart loop.

Very important mod, at least until Klei gives their own fix. Currently Automating generators with Smart Batteries makes coal entirely useless, since Dupes flat-out refuse to refill them; if nothing else correcting this behavior is worth the whole mod. The pre-automation fixes are just gravy to me. :)
