I have to commend you just for the fact you have them emote.

@RoxyRiku94 Go on ahead and add it, and thank you! :3

I am on CivFanatics, actually! My username there is Karatekid5

@Karatekid1717 Do you mind if I add your civs information for the customization wikia? It might be a nice idea to get the other players know of your civ creations.

Also, do you have a CivFanatics Forum by chance? I tried to look for your forum in CivFanatics, but couldn't find it.

@RoxyRiku94 It was probably luck with the pop boosts then, along with the location! To be honest I've had a hard time balancing the direct pop boosts, so I'm probably gonna change it to something similar but more manageble next time I have the chance xD

And I didn't make Isabelle myself, I simply helped the author make her xD

At the time I made this I didn't have any ideas for an Alolan Ash civ so that's why I didn't include him initially. But I've been brainstorming some ideas lately! "Champion of Alola" would definitely be the name of the UA, and I think Lycanroc would make an effective UU!

@Karatekid1717 I looked at the LUA files for Sophocles' ability and it actually does only count for the surplus food the cities produce. He did however have 3 large cities largely on desert floodplains (down from 4 since the Bowser civ took one of his other cities), and went full Tradition before transitioning to Rationalism.

Sophocles managed to build Stonehenge, Angkor Wat, Topkapi Palace and Versailles (the latter 2 being part of EE), but none of them is directly affecting Science, so perhaps he got lucky with the pop boosts :P (The actual wonder builder civ was actually your Animal Crossing's civ with Isabelle before I decided to wipe her out, so kudos to your civ mod XD)

Also, I wonder what unique properties Alola Ash would have when you introduce him for Civ 5 ;-)

=(
I would love to see the other captains too; Mina, Hala, Olivia, Nanu, Hapu and my all time favorite Acerola.
(No one likes llima hehehe)
It's nice to see the leaders you do have, hopefully the other ones are soon to come!

@RoxyRiku94 I'm glad you've been enjoying the mod! X3

Hano Golf Course doesn't have one since the leader quotes are in English and the episode containing the golf course wasn't dubbed at the time. Later I'll find a good quote for it!

Uploading an update now that gives Lana, Lillie, and Mallow their proper tags so that the game will refer to them as female!

Sophocles' ability only counts the surplus food that your cities are producing. And Settler only gives a 10% research cost discount and Chieftain a 5% discount. That's not gonna make a big difference, especially early game. Did the player playing Sophocles build a lot of wonders?

I was thinking about doing an Alola Ash civ and now that he's champion I've got some more ideas! And these civs are inspired by the anime continuity rather than the game continuity so we'll have to see where Pokemon 2019 takes us in Galar's case. And I do have a couple of other anime Civs, the other main one being UA High from My Hero Academia.

I definitely enjoyed playing this mod so far, and I really like the diversity of the civilizations which I wouldn't have imagined about. Also the other content (like the wonders with wonder quotes, religions and other mod support) makes it really worthwile. Some of the leader scenes are just hilarious XD.

There are however a few errors, though, like when the female leaders are referred to with male pronouns. Also the Hano Golf Course doesn't appear to have a wonder audio file associated with.

And, is it just me, or does Sophocles' ability actually take count of the entire food production for the science output? When playing on lower difficulties, Sophocles advances absurdly fast past the eras (recently advanced into the Industrial Era while the other half of the civilization was still stuck in the Classical era).

I wonder if you also would consider making even more Pokémon civilizations (Galar) or even from other animes (Dragon Ball for example) in the future.

@Karatekid1717

All of the JFDLC mods, particularly from Civfanatics versions of Rise to Power (Cities in Development, ExCE, Piety and Sovereignty, Mercenaries, and Prosperity), are all out of date since the Steam Workshop version of JFD's Rise to Power have may replaced them.

I'm afraid this requires an update. Also as what @Dan (Darkly) have said, this needs more Pokemon civs, particularly Ash.

I absolutely love this mod! The amount of detail put into this mod, such as the different expressions and dialogue options (based on who you play as, even with other mods), is just grand!

It was pretty fitting for Sophicles to gain a Science victory. It was also pretty funny to see Lana go from happy/smiling to becoming Lana the Conqueror as she took down Grima of The Grimleal, Validar of Plegia, Arthur of Fatesurica, and was at constant war with Peasley of BeanBean and Boudicca of The Celts. She stuck her tongue out at me, too. D:

I'd love to see more mods from you in the future, such as maybe Alolan Ash or Guzma of Team Skull.

Oh wow, this is impressive. Adding this to my mod list for sure!
Karatekid1717  [author] 28 Jun, 2019 @ 11:47am
@nicovallejos This mod does not replace any crucial LUA components like UnitPanel.lua (which Kiang's FE religions does) or anything that the Conflict Resolution Patch changes. If you run into any issues using the mods together please let me know, but from a technical standpoint they should be compatible.
This mod adds six new religions but it does not change existing religion components from the existing game, so there shouldn't be any issues running it alongside Kiang's Fire Emblem Religions.

It will still work with Wish for the World even if ViceVirtuoso isn't updating the mod anymore.
nicovallejos 27 Jun, 2019 @ 11:45pm
As this Pokemon modpack has its own religions, I'll have to be very careful whichever modpack it might be allowed to play on. It is not compatible with Kiang's Fire Emblem Religions.

In addition, this Pokemon modpack is not compatible with JFD's Conflict Resolution Patch mod. Meanwhile, Vice Virtuoso no longer mods Civ V (since he deserted to Civ VI), so that means, Wish for the World is not supported anymore.

I must say, the scale alone on this is impressive! The unique components are interesting, custom dialog, even dynamic leader scenes. Love it.

This is insane, best mod ive downloaded. The size of this is too good to pass up

@civ - Missile Cargo and Plane Cargo use different database tag settings and Turtonator only is set to use Missile Cargo. I wanted to allow for Atomic Bombs as well, but they're classified as Plane Cargo, and it doesn't make much sense for Turtonator to have bombers and fighters. So don't worry, your game is fine. :)
civ 19 Jun, 2019 @ 5:08am
Turtonator cannot carry atom bombs - just me?

Those are the new Nintendo civilizations!

But I'm afraid since there are many, I have to choose whichever of the series that are owned by Nintendo, one at a time; particularly Super Mario, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, or the Legend of Zelda.

Hopefully, this would be one of those that are released since the start of the Reiwa Era...
JFD 15 Jun, 2019 @ 10:12pm
Truly awesome :3
