i just confirmed the issue with drones not working after dust storm is over. power off/on solves the issue. the drones are still linked just idling around.
regarding the repair issue: repair in any thinkable way was not possible. destroying and building a new one worked nicely. i did not check if "rebuild" works.
Hope your having fun still ... and stay safe :)
I'll admit it's been almost a year since I last worked on any Surviving Mars Project.
I'm really sorry I don't have the time to investigate your issues. :( Other projects have pulled me away from modding for SM.
I have no idea what would be causing the un-linking of drones to the controller, nor do I have the first idea on how to make it compatible with the newer features of Choggi's mods (like repair and request). I am deeply sorry for this and hope it doesn't truly sour your experience of the game or mods.
Do the drones 'eventually' repair it on their own ? Can it be destroyed an rebuilt from that state ?
Even if you could provide a savefile for me to test this issue myself would be helpful, as I can't reproduce it, at all. Obviously if I can't reproduce the bug, I can't even attempt to figure out what is going wrong or work out a fix. :)
However, if you have fresh logfiles, or even a savestate that reliably reproduces this bug... please send them to me on the discord and I will endeavour to solve the issue.
Also don't worry about it, it's a free mod, if I can help get the issue resolved (if it's not on my end lol) then that's all I care about
I played and bug tested as much as I could, and use these myself on a save at well over 300sols and just finally got a 1000+ colony ... so I'm interested to see what the issue might be... I'm guessing a mod-conflict though
I do have a log with what looks to my uneducated eye to be an error (it just isn't from the crash log folder, that one's empty, *shrug*). I do use a ton of mods, but just refraining from placing the large drone station has eliminated the crashing.
Secondly (for a conflict issue) disable ALL your mods... enable this one... then one by one enable each mod
Alternatively join the Surviving Mars Modders Discord and send me a copy of your crash log in my channel, I might be able to find the problem that way :)

On a different note I can confirm that whilst not by intentional design the technology breakthrough of 'Autonomous Hubs' does indeed affect these stations too, which I think is a perfectly fine outcome of having the breakthrough. Whilst you have this breakthrough you will not see the maintenance bar for these (or standard Drone Hubs) as they no longer require maintenance. Could you please confirm this was the case in your game?
The info panel should look as it does in the 4th screenshot
It was designed to be used for small remote outposts/situations (like the countless amount of Seed Spreaders you might want) or for smaller controlled drone work like shuffling waste rock around, or as an extra task manager in a smaller radius you can use it to satisfy local demands with the drones whilst your major hubs organise shuffling resources across your Universal Depots..or to bridge that small gap/oversight in your drone network, instead of building another power guzzling, electric material munching drone hub...
But each to their own, if you can't find a use for it, maybe not the mod you need/want. Thankyou however for your feedback and comment and for trying the mod out. Much appreciated.
This is an oxymoron. You might want to change the name to avoid confusion.
