Hello! Me and my friends have started a server on The Island and we've put this mod alongside a couple others. We are currently at night 12 and yet nothing has happened. We are trying to find the Erebus to see if the settings might be weird on it, but we aren't able to see it anywhere on the map. Is there any way we can pinpoint its location? Or could it just be that the mod is currently not properly working?

Honestly, I haven't tried it in a looong time. It just wasn't as fun as I thought it would be...sigh. One of these days I'll have to retest it and try to make it better.

Anyone know if this is working? It's been almost a year since last communication and I love the xmas mod but would love this too! Just don't want to chance it.....

I'm sorry truwrecks. I do think this mod is not working but I thought the Halloween mod was ok. I haven't heard anyone having crashing with the Halloween mod excet with the bone jerboa.

Unfortunately this mod and the Halloween mod are crashing my server with no other mods loaded. Even the Halloween mod crashed my server when it was the only mod I had loaded. Single player I had the same problems. Neither mod works with the current release of Ark. And that is unfortunate because I do use the ADK and I do know how much of a pain it is when Ark breaks my mods.

I would remove this mod since last I heard it was having problems. I'm sorry about that. I just haven't worked on this mod for a while. The Halloween mod should be running fine.

we are trying to get this mod and the other halloweenmod working on our server both from you but even with nothing else as that it makes the server crash when we want to use it on the map rodinia are both mods compatible with all maps @randladywolf?? or what can we try to have it working

Hi SexKitten, that is not good. I'm sorry its not working. I will have to run some tests to see if any recent changes is causing the problem. Sorry about that! I'll post if I figure out anything. In the mean time, can you double check you have the menu settings right? Its possible to set it up so that no wicked are spawned if players of that level aren't on the map.

i cant get the mod to spawn any dinos … it blasts the horn etc but nohing

Hi Sarge, no I didn't create any. That's what makes the Wicked scary, they are like alphas and can damage stone. Otherwise, they are just like the rest of the dinos really not much threat.

Is there any ini files that can be adjusted to turn down the power of the wicked ??...They can eat stone..

Hi Sarge of Greyhawk, I think theoretically once you place Erebus and set the settings you want it should stay that way even if you leave. But I never really tested it so there is a chance some weird stasis issue might happen to cause it to reset. So, I think it will work just fine but not 100% sure.

If I add the Erebus as an admin do I have to stay on that server for it to work or can I kill that char. off or transfer to another server??

Hi ego_sin_trick, maybe someday I can add zombies but my animations and new character creation knowledge is terrible. So far, I have only been successful at modifying cosmetics of existing creatures. sigh...I keep learning though.

Hi Man.., Cool glad you got it. I do want to add more creatures and also a way to change how often the horn sounds. It might be a few months though. Long list of stuff to do plus I like to game too. :D

I like this mod too its fun but I find it's too easy on boss Rexes and too hard on foot. So maybe find some dino in between to have more fun.

do you plan on adding more creatures to the mod or leaving what you have in already just wondering ? either way i like the mod can't wait for the event to start

Basically if you chat in the global chat you need to see a star by your name. Then you know you are admin. Open the Erebus admin menu once you are admin and it should work fine.

Hi ManAfterMayhem, I take it you spawned in the Erebus? Make sure you aren't hidden as admin as someone else found this causes the Erebus to think you are not admin. You need to open the controls on the Erebus to setup the night of the wicked.

Hi Randi. So far so good with this mod. It has been a blast! Been running it on a Valguero server with several mods, including Classic Flyers, S+, Castle Builder, several Eco mods, etc. There have been no problems of note. The Wicked spawn near our battle base, but have not spawned in it. Nor have any Wicked spawned on a logged out player or in their base. The Wicked do not seem able to harm anything built with the Castle Builder mod, but I suspect it is because the castle parts are equivalent to the metal tier. Argies are also able to dive-bomb and strafe attack (area effect) the hoard to great destruction (this has been a bit of a Dark Side level fun). Thanks again for the mod and keep up the great work!

Hi Glitcher Penguin, So far my testing has shown that no wicked drop on players logged out. On my server, we just left our base to wait for the night to happen. It is a good idea about having a special item to protect bases and I originally made a little wooden Rex statue to do just that. It worked but it added lag because on the night of the wicked Erebus has to do quite a bit of work to run and adding the search for any protection was just too much.

Hey Randi, I was reading the comments, maybe you could make a certain shield that would block wicked from harming a base? Maybe something only admin can give out to help protect new players or players who are away? Dunno.

i play on a server that r tame dinos are prity strong so they one shot most of them and wish there was a way for them to take down shileds

that would be cool allso maby give them armor for 60+ players to make them harder to kill

Hi shadowdragon829, Yes there is. In fact, I was thinking about doing just that. It's hard to decide so...maybe I can find a way to make a new setting in the admin that can increase the difficulty.

SOLVED : device HAS TO SEE ADMIN STAR ! Using cheat setadminicon false breaks mod. I always set icon to false.

I spawned in device,placed it down. Held E for "In-game admin controls accessed through Erebus" and all i got was pickup or destroy. I destroyed device and it left shinehorn which I killed and got a flag. So, where and how do I access In-game admin controls accessed through Erebus?

Hi Blacklisted, I'm not sure. Are you sure you don't have to use the enablecheats command? Maybe try spawning in a new one and see if that works? Did the menu ever work for you?

Ok, I am admin and owner of server, use spawn code to get device and placed it. Next day picked up and replaced it down. Still no choice but Pickup and destroy

Hi again djslim, I just tested on ragnorak single player and it works ok for me. I had it last after several mods. Could it be a different mod? what mods are you using?
