Just in case anyone is wondering: while you cannot alter the stats (damage, aim bonus, crit bonus, clip size, etc) of this weapon directly, if you edit the stats for the vanilla Vektor Rifle then the crossbow will inherit the changes. I have done this myself and it works.

Is anyone who can use a normal Vektor rifle supposed to be able to use this? Since the weapon type is "vektor_rifle".
I use the Profiency Class Reaper and can't select this. But I'm not seeing anything obvious I could edit either.

For those wanting to edit the weapon data for the crossbow, just edit the base Vektor Rifle stats in the WeaponData.ini

Is it compatible with Grimy's Loot Mod, i.e. can it drop from the lockboxes in that mod? Just want to be sure, since that's a must-have mod for me.

Damage output is the same for both T1 and T2 I am using Magnetic and there is no change. Love the skin its sick just wish it had more ass.
is it possible to swap the firing sound out for something with more impact? i love this mod but the sfx is kinda unsatisfying

Thanks, it's mostly that these cosmetics are quite memorable since they're look good and can be used on almost every soldier.

The legs, arms and torso are not from any mods (Reaper cosmetics) the hair comes from destroyer's female hair pack (sims4 sideswept, love that haircut) and the headset comes for one of the titanfall cosmetic mods (MCOR headset I think)

Headset is the MCOR headset from the Titanfall cosmetics and the glasses is the Thick Rimmed Glasses from the base game

Why not change the characteristics of the weapon? why there is no such function / maybe it is worth adding the name of the weapon to the XCOM / WEAPON DATA.ini file

Hi, I know this would be a bit more work, but could you give us an option to have these as non-cosmetic and expose the weapon stats to config? I'd love the idea of making these a sort of weaker, stealthier boltcaster sidegrade for the vector rifle.

"vektor_rifle" is a weapon type, not a specific weapon. Removing it from the reaper's allowed weapons removed their ability to use any vektor rifle weapons, which the crossbow is one of. Follow deadput's instructions instead

You need to go to DefaultGameData.ini in the base game config and find
Loadouts=(LoadoutName="SquaddieReaper", Items[0]=(Item="ReaperArmor"), Items[1]=(Item="VektorRifle_CV"), Items[2]=(Item="Reaper_Claymore"))

Switch out VektorRifle_CV for CrossbowVektor_CV and you should be good to go, no need to disable base game Vektor rifles and I probably wouldn't just in case of any weird bugs.

I love this mod, I'd like the reapers to use the crossbow by default, is there any way to do this ?

I edited the DefaultClassData.ini file like this :
[Reaper X2SoldierClassTemplate]

AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="CrossbowVektor_CV")

It didn't work, reapers appears without weapon. :/

Ah just want to let you know there is a typo in the localization of the tier 3 Crossbow

"bolts have been upgraded with an fusion enhanced bolthead."
