I figured it out just based on what changed with this mod: the line in the .mod file

dependencies={
"Beyond Typus 11.5"
}

breaks compatibility with Valrossen's. Everything works fine when I delete this.

I still don't know why this would be the case and it still seems weird.

ok, there's some incompatibility between this and Valrossen's Graphics Overhaul where having both loaded at the same time make it bug out?? this seems real weird to me, but hey

I don't get it without this mod on my modlist, and I don't get it with the previous version/page of this mod. The only other map mods I have are BT and Valrossen's Graphics.

Huh, that’s odd. Maybe try deleting and redownloading this? Could well be a download error. Or possibly conflicting with another mod?

map is jacked up with this enabled, looks like one of the layers (or whatever they're called) is the vanilla map instead of BT
