I found a slight miscalculation in the mod, resulting in them being able to reach combat skills in excess of 45, so occasionally they are way too powerful, even able to challenge town guards. It's a quick, easy fix.
Oh, and it does also give them mod weapons that fall in the appropriate category, so that's cool.

Great job, in the description it says "vanil weapon" but I'm pretty sure they can also start with appropriate level weapons from other mods as well, which is awesome. Starving bandit's are slightly OP now, as others have mentioned, but it's a fair trade off.

It was nice. But, I can't level up my weak characters now. =s I don't wanna see everytime my chara having to fight a strong chara just to lose xD from the begining xD

i think need some fixes - for example i saw a squad of hungry bandits vs almost 2 squads dust bandits. Guess who won? :D but mod actually good, but anyway i think it need some re-balance

As others have stated, this gives players a reason to fear Starving Bandits again - at least for the early game. And, for some of us, this gives us reason to not use this mod.

As such, would you consider releasing a separate "lite" version that gives more variety to Starving Bandits without making them quite so difficult? I'd be happy just with giving more variety to their weapons and only giving a stat increase to the bandit leader.

The reason they only have pipes is mechanical not narrative, it's so they don't kill 1 toughness players first fight every single time with bleeds. they're the only low stakes training opportunity for beginner characters. but I like the direction, cool mod.
give them all blunt weps maybe so they still serve their normal ingame function as babys first toughness training?

im 100+ hours in an i still consider it beginning of the game since ive only seen maybe 20% of map an only have really like 5 people that are in the stat range of 50-80
the rest of my people are under 20-30 an i still end up getting wiped in harder areas. for example security bots

If you think 20 hours of game time is "beginning of the game". Even with their vanilla stats, I have to round up all of my squad members to come to the rescue if one gets attacked. I have 9 squad members and only the best of those have around 25 in stats.

So simply yes, a reason to fear them again.

Simply, no! Maybe on the beginning of the game! But this mod does game more realistic and hobo's gangs have different weapons and stats! Like on real life ))) LOL
