could you make a version with just additions for your luxuries without any changes to the vanilla pantheons?
Brunilo 10 May @ 8:12am
Not working for me anymore after hours of fun. Tryed clear cache, reinstal the game... Thanks anyway!
Darklord Morius 15 Aug, 2019 @ 6:02pm
Great Barathor, i'm working on a French translation for this mod. Cool?
SolsticeDan 21 May, 2018 @ 3:09pm
I literally was playing and said to myself "hey there should be a pantheon addition to the more luxuries mod." Surely enough I found this. Thanks for this mod, it makes playing with the more luxuries mod even more enjoyable.

Does this mod happen to remove some pantheons?
Thain 12 Oct, 2015 @ 6:13am
I really like your pantheons, but I feel that desert folklore is too powerful considering the yeild of the other pantheons has also been reduced,
IamTad 16 Jun, 2015 @ 2:34pm
In continuation of my previous question, I have more points to bring up to you. I now get that you removed the improvements bonus pantheons for balence with the other pantheons, but it doesn't balance the game. If I had 2 citrus by one city and 2 incense by another, I wouldn't have a pantheon for both cities to benefit. A solution to this would be to keep the vanilla pantheons and create more combination of improvements pantheons, as you only have like four pantheons that have different improvents. I do like some of the new ones though like the wonder pantheon and the wheat plus growth rate pantheon as those were good fixes. But it doesn't really do it for me if I can't have a regional bonus for my cities. This is up to you of course to create these changes, but it would be really nice if you actually do this.

I agree with Watersea10

Why have you taken out the plantation boost? I liked that one.

Have you updated this mod yet? :D
Barrowulf  [author] 27 Oct, 2014 @ 12:21pm
New official patch! I'll probably update this tomorrow.

I'm thinking of removing Truffles from Hunt and adding Bison, and removing Salt from Hearth and adding Truffles.
Lord_Daemonar 31 Aug, 2014 @ 11:13pm
I like it with Race for Religion, you just need to load this mod after RFR or delete RFR's folder of Pantheon beliefs.

I always hope for a start with coffee, tea or chocolate now. So many hammers.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Barrowulf  [author] 3 Jun, 2014 @ 9:35am
*shrug* give it a try...
skaz88 3 Jun, 2014 @ 9:23am
Is it possible to use this mod alongside Race for Religion?
Barrowulf  [author] 3 Jun, 2014 @ 5:52am
Thanks! That was actually another version for only the default game's luxuries, before Firaxis released the patch which introduced Earth Mother, Sun God, etc.

The main goal of the mod was to have all resources covered, and since Firaxis achieved that with the new patch, I felt the mod was no longer really necessary.

I actually should create a new thread there for this addon version, haha.
Chrisbburn 3 Jun, 2014 @ 2:26am
Great work B! How come the Civ Fanatic page says you have retired this MOD or is it a different version?
Justin 29 May, 2014 @ 1:07pm
Yay! Thank you so muchhhhh!!!!!
Barrowulf  [author] 29 May, 2014 @ 12:46pm
Updated!
Barrowulf  [author] 29 May, 2014 @ 10:49am
Haha... almost done with it. ; )

It's a tedious file to modify, so I'm taking it slow and verifying everything as I go down my list of beliefs and check each one off.

;p

Hi! Not to be annoying/rude, but.... tomorrow has passed and it's still not here. :)

Barrowulf  [author] 27 May, 2014 @ 9:06am
This will be updated tomorrow to include Lapis Lazuli and Coral, along with a few tweaks.

MysticalShard 5 May, 2014 @ 2:34am
hi, do u hv a direct download for this mod and the more resources and optimized resource distribution mod? I want to get these mods but my steam is not installing it when i subscribe
Barrowulf  [author] 14 Dec, 2013 @ 11:05am
Yes, it sounds like you have some conflicts on your end. This mod actually doesn't have a pantheon that grants +1F/+1C to wine and incense, and to gain +1C on spices you need Religious Holidays.

I've verified all the pantheons before releasing this latest update, and just did so again with the few related to the resources you've described. They're all working normally.

If you still wish to resolve it, you can follow the troubleshooting section I have written within my More Luxuries mod.
Keln 14 Dec, 2013 @ 7:23am
I adopted the pantheon that give +1 culture and faith with wine and incense, and it gave me nothing in the tiles. But curiously, spices gave me +1 culture. You know something about that? Maybe there is some mod that is incompatible with this mod?
McKrackovich 13 Dec, 2013 @ 9:18am
Nice mods
Chrisbburn 2 Dec, 2013 @ 12:54pm
More than happy to help. Great Mod BTW all of your mods are fantastic
Barrowulf  [author] 1 Dec, 2013 @ 4:38pm
Looking at the mod's code, you may be right, Blax. I may have forgotten to add on Copper to the existing belief, alongside silver and gold. Wow, this is unacceptable; I'm very sorry, guys. I'm going to fix that one and I'm also going to playtest every belief to make sure everything is working as it should -- which I should've done in the first place! Thanks for letting me know of this. :)
Chrisbburn 1 Dec, 2013 @ 11:15am
Silver is good just trying to get a start with gold.
Chrisbburn 1 Dec, 2013 @ 10:41am
Also seesm to be something up with the religous idols. Have tested with only this mod and your luxuries mod but I dont get the faith bonus for copper. Will try silver and gold now.
Barrowulf  [author] 30 Nov, 2013 @ 11:02pm
Thank you, mathew, your feedback is much appreciated. I tested things out in the game, and sure enough, the bonus wasn't being applied. I then looked into the core source files of the game. It turns out that an obsolete era MUST be specified if using the wonder production bonus tag for beliefs. It wasn't coded to handle the default "NULL" value that the other beliefs are set to.

I've updated Monument to the Gods and it now gives a wonder production boost to pre-Industrial wonders instead.

I also tested this update out in the game and it's now working correctly.
Barrowulf  [author] 30 Nov, 2013 @ 9:38am
Galgus, I'll look into it and see if I can create a balanced two-yield version.

Note: I still have some big updates for More Luxuries. I believe some of the updates will increase the potency of the 1-yield resource bonuses here.

Also, I may respond more in depth on the Civfanatics thread. Since there are a lot of things to consider and I can give details as to why I made the decision to make everything 1 yield. Then you guys can give me some valuable feedback on it.
Barrowulf  [author] 30 Nov, 2013 @ 9:30am
Hmm, everything looks alright code-wise. I'll test it out within the game; thanks.
Delport Breckland 29 Nov, 2013 @ 4:25pm
Is anyone else having trouble with "Monument to the Gods" under this mod? It's the only pantheon-related mod i am using, and it does not seem to be adding production.
Galgus 19 Nov, 2013 @ 1:44pm
Practically neccessary mod for your More Luxuries mod, which is a big improvement to the game.

That said, the faith yields that aren't Desert Folklore seem weak compared to the other yields, especially food, though that may be my inexperience talking.

Would you consider making a version balanced on a two-yield system for players that miss the few two-yield pantheons in the original game?
Barrowulf  [author] 17 Nov, 2013 @ 10:21am
Thank you very much for letting me know, Hokath! That's caused by a relic of the earlier version -- I must have forgotten to delete that little bit of leftover code at the end of the file after I changed everything. I stopped my game of XCOM and fixed this right away, haha. ; )
Hokath 17 Nov, 2013 @ 10:00am
@Barathor
Goddess of Inspiration still gives the +1 culture +1 production bonus to tea/coffee/etc
Craven Moorehead 10 Nov, 2013 @ 5:21pm
Dude you make some killer mods. Keep up the work, you're making my experience infinitely better!
Lord_Daemonar 29 Oct, 2013 @ 5:36pm
Wait - can I keep using this mod if I've downloaded it? What if I've updated it to whatever version is on Steam now?
I really liked this mod
Barrowulf  [author] 26 Oct, 2013 @ 8:48pm
Here's a link to download the retired standalone version, for anybody that wishes to continue or create new games under it:

http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=21953

Just place the file in:

...\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS

The game should unpack the file when you enter the Mods menu.
Barrowulf  [author] 26 Oct, 2013 @ 8:34pm
lufsen65 and Bluebaron, sorry for the saves you guys lost. :( I wish Steam would just leave the current version of a mod on users' computers when they're no longer on the Workshop. At least users would still be able to use it until they decided to delete themselves.

You guys are referring to the other pantheon mod I released on the side while creating this one. I originally released it as a separate, standalone mod when I realized I could also utilize all the default game's resources with the flavor of the beliefs I created.

But, after the official patch, I believe it's really no longer necessary since all the default resources are now covered with the inclusion of Earth Mother and Sun God (Oral Tradition picks up the few leftover plantation luxuries). I also don't wish to support it or continue any development on it (as it also needed updating after the patch) so I removed it from the Workshop and retired it.
Barrowulf  [author] 26 Oct, 2013 @ 8:24pm
Daemonar, I made a lot of changes since the original version, which I released before the official patch. I also updated it to incorporate the new Perfume luxury I added to my other mod.

I reshuffled things a bit, changed some belief titles, changed the bonuses applied to resources, and tweaked some other pantheon beliefs outside of the resource ones (the original mod only focused on the resource beliefs, initially). I've also added a couple new beliefs, on top of the ones I already created.
