I havn't touched Starbound in awhile. I can look into it. It may no longer be compatible with current Lua from Frackin Universe.

So when i use this mod with Frackin Universe, every time i select a new star to travel to it just crashes the "navigation console". Is there a way to fix this?

... is it supposed to make all trips only cost 41 fuel? I thought it would just revert fuel costs so that the maximum travel cost would never be more than your maximum fuel storage again...

what you need is a gas station space station addon where it costs only pixels for fuel.10000 pixels for a full tank.

@xMGZx, actually, the ship uses FTL traveling (as you are, infact, travelling between planetary systems, something that takes years in traditional physics, in matters of minutes), which is built upon relativistic physics, so the common idea of inertia cannot be simply applied. In fact, the fuel needs to provide a negative energy density, which can only be archieved through exotic matter. It isn't well known if FTL would actually require a large amount of fuel or not, but both could be true.
TL;DR: FTL travel isn't like propulsion in a vacuum.

Thanks. Because of inertia I actually figured out why default fuel costs made sense realistically. In the vacuum that is space, you can travel a lot further than you think, so it makes sense to only have to use fuel to start and stop moving, while coasting in between.

Thank you! The 1.3 equivalent of this mod totally broke navigation, and I was consigning myself to spending thousands of fuel units for a single jump.
