Adaptive Networks mod reports the assertion failed error, maybe Chamëleon TBN, one of authors of Adaptive Networks mod has any thoughts on this.
I'll report this issue also there and ask if he can have a look at it.

Hi @clus, thanks for all the efforts! Yes it usually has something to do with saves missing net assets. Though, this assertion error pops up even when starting a new game. Even with minimum mods & assets. Other network assets (tram/trolly/train/etc created by you and/or by others) don't have this error when starting new game. Don't know what's going on either. I doubt algernon can shed a light on this as it occurs even with new games and minimal mods/assets. The error "unsupported type for deserialization: NetInfo in package 1778587650." would suggest that something has changed the way the game handles serialization/deserialization of data. It seems some types of NetInfo have changed and this asset uses and 'old' NetInfo type which is no longer supported, or something like that. I don't know if this NetInfo is part of the asset, or if it is set by (a part of) the game. Anyhow, thanks in any case.

@Maylow I think I've answered this somewhere already. ;) idk whats happening at your end ... The "assertion failed" error usually pops up, when a net is missing in the save. The better place to ask about all this is the "Loading Screen Mod" page. You also have to provide your output.log file, otherwise algernon wont be able to help you.

Sorry for all the confusion of my part!! All comments i posted technically do apply and still stand about the reported issues, but i mixed up the author of this asset (@clus) and the author of NS Mixed Cargo (@Acc3ss Violation). My humble apologies and i will report the issue with de NS 2200 at his asset comment section of course.

When searching output_log.txt for the asset id of NS 2200 Mixed Cargo, i came across multiple messages like:

116,403ms | Random Train Trailers: 551161964.Trailer1 can not be found!

116,404ms | Random Train Trailers: 551161964.Trailer2 can not be found!

Results of testing with NS 2200 Mixed Cargo: object not set to instance error again.

Output_log.txt contains:

I than did a search on the id's of those network assets in output_log.txt and came across the following message:

51,963ms | Loading Screen Mod Revisited: ERROR: unsupported type for deserialization: NetInfo in package 1778587650.

This message is repeated several times and each asset with the issue i mentioned is reported as such.
52,671ms | Loading Screen Mod Revisited: ERROR: unsupported type for deserialization: NetInfo in package 2035248394.
51,212ms | Loading Screen Mod Revisited: ERROR: unsupported type for deserialization: NetInfo in package 1608289031.

These messages seem related imo. I hope this info helps.

Ok, just did another test with these network asset subscribed/enabled and immediately after loading savegame the assertion error pops up.
The output_log.txt states the following message repeatingly:

For reference, i just did a test without these assets that cause the issue on my system and the result was no exceptions or errors in game nor in output_log.txt. I loaded a simple savegame which i created especially for testing this, a small village of 2000 pop with a passenger train stations and industry train station. I waited long enough to see trains spawned. And for example, DH-1 Wadloper https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=465105119 spawned and works fine.

When i earlier this week reported the issue, i had removed all mods and assets to run clean tests.
Last days i moved on and I currently have about 200 mods and about 3700 assets, but they all work fine. If absolutely necessary i can remove all mods and assets again and perform more clean tests, but for now i don't deem it absolutely necessary as for example that DH-1 Wadloper just runs fine.

Now i will test with the assets enabled that caused issues on my system.

This asset also has Adaptive Networks https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2669938594 report an assertion error.
Also asset https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2035248394 has Adaptive Networks report that error.
While asset https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2045936715 does not have Adaptive Networks report that error.
I'm more certain now that the assertion problem Adaptive Networks reports is related to these assets rather than to that mod.

Ich denke nicht, dass ich "doppelt" hochladen werde. Mittlerweile gibt es ja gute Austausch-Mods für die Ampeln. ;)
@NSFI Du sprichst auf Teile der "sinking tram road" an ?! Die sind extra so erstellt. Ich habe dazu ne kleine Anleitung veröffentlicht... ;)

Und wie wäre es, wenn du zu den bereits hochgeladenen Straßen mit den originalen Ampeln ne Alternativversion mit deinen Ampeldesigns hochlädst, sodass Spieler zwischen beiden wählen können? Also, nur falls es nicht zu aufwändig ist natürlich

@denNes Entschuldige die späte Antwort ! Das würde ich gerne tun ... wirklich gerne. Mache ich aber wohl nicht, um nicht jeden zu zwingen die Dinger zu laden. Sie würden zwar bei Nutzung vom LSM nicht ins Gewicht fallen, aber viele wollen dann doch nicht so viel Kram laden ...

can you make a 32 meter wide version of it, like the vanilla two-lane avenue with a gigantic median?
