Just found out it's not compatible with Majestic Foliage Framework[HH] if no shadows is loaded before, but loaded after works fine (i guess), just in case someone else runs into the same problem.
And thank you so much for making this mod, it's really useful :)

I think the latest game update broke the mod. Trees and things are casting shadows again.

How strange! I'd have to look into it, but iirc all I made this mod do is set shadow height to 0 for all buildings. I'd *think* that'd apply to modded items too, but I suppose there could always be some trickery going on behind the scenes.

It should be noted I am seeing this whilst it is raining in game, I'm not sure if that has any effect but if it does it would be a shame to not mention.

It seemingly doesn't hide shadows from "Invisible standing lamp"s, which granted is a modded item, but is just a copy of the standing lamp without a texture. Is this mod meant to remove shadows from modded items like this?

Awesome mod, kinda crazy how tynan hasn't fixed vanilla shadows yet (they look so weird). I hope you update this to 1.2 soon!

Hell yeah. This is an essential mod. Makes the game look better, and fairly sure it's a slight performance increase on toasters like mine. Glad to have you back, and thanks to Mlie for holding the fort in the meanwhile

winggar, Of course we are using it...
It just looks stupid when a building-shadow has a white-streak negative shadow from a pawn or
something innit.Not to mention that i _still_ am kinda sure, that they move the wrong way, as if
the RimWorld rotates the other way round on its axis than Earth.

@Yrol He was probably just being nice, unlike you and me. Enable dev mode from options->click the dev menu with a square in the icon (cant remember more accurately and dont have rimworld open rn), there's a tick box with shadow overlay somewhere on the bottom of the leftmost column

Thank you! While shadows aren't causing performance issues for me, they don't work right. When shadows are long, the bottom of the shadow disconnects from the building. Also, some wall type things don't give shadows, which makes shadows look torn and confusing.

Yeah, sure. I haven't tested the performance at all, I just found someone who thought the shadows were ugly, and wanted them gone.

hi, can i check if this is different to the the shadow option in devmode?
i currently use the "no plant sway" in options to gain some fps on my slow computer that has a lot of animals and minions from the minions mod... just wondering if this shadow mod is different/extra saving?

I'm pretty sure this could be of great help in larger map sizes or with mods that increase vegetation density (both of which i play with all the time), but either way thanks for making this mod!
