Hilarious mod! So fun to play a giant.

I prefer to use my left mouse button for basic attacks. The middle finger doesn't handle repetition as well, and it forces me to use another keyboard key for the primary skill, so I was a little disappointed that the Siege Guardian and Grell both had the right mouse button for basic attacks. Not a huge problem, though.

I definitely enjoy playing Grell the most. The cooldowns on his skills are just right, and they damage enemies well, and the way I expect them to. Thanks a bunch for this fun mod.

even if i wanted too i cant edit the files now, they require a workshop file that gives me access too updating, having a new pc since then all i could do is create a new mod. just try out a few things and you will be amazed on what you can do. i had no idea what i was doing when i made the mods, running purely from "i wonder what would happen if".

if you want to create mods similar too these boss mods its fairly easy. just set the player model too the enemy you wish and make sure all your attacks and movements are that off the Enemys. then its just a process off recreating the skills, i just copied the exsisting ones and scaled them with leveling.

many things are possible for example i was creating a mod that made the play a skeleton with armor and weapons that worked. had some cool new nercomancer like skills too.

already done that sadly it seems to not working. I dont know about the workaround though if you can remember after all that time. I wanted to contact you to maybe figure out with me why its not working. but i guess after 5 years its not relevant anymore to you ^^' still would appreciate the effort ( i installed the tool and try to figure out how you did it in the first place figuring stuff out slowly :3)

there is a work around for the class on multiplayer, cant remember if this pack has a updated version of the mod however. maybe best just to download this single mod if its only dark alch you want.

sorry to hear that yourt having difficultys with the mod, the mods for torchlight are far from perfected so bugs will crop up. hope you dont find any that ruin your experiance.

And then the problem sorted itself out. I thought I already tried quitting (and even closing out of) the game and coming back but apparently that worked this time.

Glitches, why you have to be so weird sometimes? Not complaining that it randomly worked.

Just a word of warning for any future downloads of this mob by people. Siege Guardian vs. the Siege Guardian boss might result in your basic attack glitching out and the icon of it vanishing. What this causes is that the game treats it as a blank space and will make you do some other attack when ever you use it if it is bound to LMB. If you bind it elsewhere then it'll work again. :(

Sucks as I was having fun with that particular class. I'm going to guess similar issues might occue in this mod pack when facing the boss that your class is supposed to be.

yes that is a known bug, problem down to it trying to replace the bosses faces with players.
i mentioned in one of the mods but dident in the rest i guess. easiely avoided however.

hey i like your mods and i just wanted to let you know that if you hit randomize apperance when you have general grell selected it crashes the game. i probably should have known that but i just got curious. so once again love your mods but you might want to put something in the descriptoon telling people not to do that.

I agree, Saren. They're really fun to play! A friend and I played through the whole campaign on these characters, and it was the only way I got him to finish the campaign! They might glitch out a bit, but even with other mods such as Synergies active, I haven't had any issues myself. The best part about this mod is that it makes sense that these boss characters can kill hordes of enemies. Regular characters are ants compared to the enemies they fight, while boss characters really do seem like they're at odds with the environment, making boss battles all the more enjoyable!

You should definitely do the artificer...they are bosses so they will always be buggy...but they are still a blast to play.

not sure if i am, the current mods are so packed full of bugs i dont see much point creating a new one with the same bugs within, however i would put it down to the community if its better or not.

the mods are built to be compatible with many mods as possible, however any mods that change core files with bosses will conflict with this mod, in case of this just load this mod pack before anything such as that.

you can change the options ingame controls menu, since i started with the bosses they have had problems with respecs and i still dont know why.

Hum I'm double posting but I've find a way to bypass the LMB problem it isn't awesome but it makes the Siege Guardian and Grell easyer to play.
Just change the 7th or 8th spell shortcut to LMB but put a modifier and you're done you'll be able to use your spell on the LMB.
(Tell me if someone already found it ^^)

everything todo with the speed of attacks will not change, these classes where made to say as close to the real ones while still being playable, changing the speed of the animations to cast will change that.
people have mentioned many times about the classes being hard to play at the start of the game, i have tried to make changes to skill to help this.
"4) For Grell and the SG I really hop you'll be able to put their base spell on the LMB to make them cooler =)" i have comented the reason for this over 20 times now, if you have a way to fix this feel free to post the code otherwise its staying as it is.

1 and 2, your talking in abbreviations and i havent the slightest clue what your talking about.

in a hole, ill make some changes to all three classes to boost there playabillity:
changing skills damage
speeding up animations very slightly
add i few extra things that will hopefully change there gameplay from other classes.

3) Boosting the Emberpunch (lvl 15 spell for the DA) it is too long to charge for only few damages... It's a bit frustrating. And increasing his first spell targeting range to prevent him from going in the middle of nowhere while targeting a creep.
4) For Grell and the SG I really hop you'll be able to put their base spell on the LMB to make them cooler =)
5) Boosting some spell which only make damages by giving them a little "plus" or more damage to make them more reliable.

Sorry it's a bit long but I love your idea but IMO there is few problems and it make me cry :'(

There's something you should change IMHO
1) Reducing the Dark Alchemist CD because having only cd spell can drastically kill the HnS gameplay. without spaming "basic" spell there's no way to have a sustained long range attack.
I think you've done it to keep the boss like spells but it's really hard to play at the begining when you only have 2/3 spells with lots of CD (especially when one of them has a chaneling/dps rate which tend to be a bit low)
2) Boosting the bosses cast speed, I've tried it and it's really horrible to take some damages because the char always takes 2 second to cast his first spell. (For exemple creating a passiv which gives Att and Cast speed)
