• removed lightbar points
• backup light is a dev error - it's fixed on yours now
• I'm not sure why the trailer kickstand keeps dropping - just detach/attach to fix. I've seen this on a few other mods in the past; if someone has a suggestion to correct, please let me know.
• The wheel clipping is an issue with the way MR places the trailers - the only thing I can do is have them hookup above the receiver if you want. Just keep pulling & turning and they'll usually pop out of the ground (winch helps if you have somewhere to attach). I mostly added these so you can hookup to dispense fuel/repair from trailers already in a map - they don't pull particularly well with such a small truck.
• I can't do anything about the interior - this is a base game model, and that's pretty well locked in
What is the boat trailer?
as it stands right now with bugs and all I give it a 7.5 out of 10, fix the bugs. easy 8.5 - 9 out of 10
I hope you continue to work on these when you can. maybe do something about the appalling stock interior, the devs for mudrunner didn't give much thought into that even though they improved 1st person camera dramatically
1: inside of the hummer's wheels are missing textures. can see right though them
2: the tiny log cart likes to drop its kickstand after its been loaded up, digging into the ground
3: any of the larger trailers spawn clipped in the ground. some, like the garage trailer and the boat trailer, I can't get out of the ground
4: only one backup light works
the only change that is needed is that the lightbar should not carry any repair points
changed your H1
• tires are now stock height (~36"), but are wider (14.5" vs 10.5").
• suspension is set to stock height, with a bit of added down travel.
• engine & gearing is set to realistic gear ratios, then given a slight bump - similar gearing to the F150 now.
• has a selection of the smaller trailers in the game, including a loadable version of the log trailer in Old-Timers. Also added the Kamaz trailers - these may be a bit heavy to haul in extreme terrain though.
Let me know if you need anything else changed, and I'll see what I can do.
I'm actually working on a set of monster trucks right now - they're mostly there, but I need to figure out this whole UV unwrapping thing as the wheels have solid color, cartoonish, textures at the moment. I have an actual truck (not a monster truck) I'm modeling, too, but that's probably going to be quite a while before I get it finished.
Just out of curiosity, what do you guys have against rear-steering? It's a really quick fix, and isn't a big deal, I'm just trying to wrap my head around it. The F150 in this pack was requested the same way. It gives you a tighter turning radius, and let's you "walk" your way up/across terrain with loose traction. I guess at speed on a track it might make it a little squirrelly, but these aren't particularly fast trucks.
Since I was updating the mod anyway, I also updated the load area and internalized the bumper collisions on all three models (changes from Ol' Red).
