Obviously, there are 2 types of treatment: healing and repair. NPCs incorrectly try to cure a damaged live leg with a repair kit and a broken prosthesis with a first aid kit. The game needs a clear separation of these two procedures for a specific distinction, otherwise we have a lot of damaged cycles.

Probably, but it's a bug in vanilla.
When I was quietly making "NPCs Equip Robot Limbs", I felt that game developers did not sufficiently check the behavior of NPCs equipped with Robot Limbs.

Broken. NPC wo Robot Libs is trying to repair a damaged leg. Jerky looped animation.
