Can't seem to get this to work with Paleo Ark, but it works ok enough with Dino Hoard TLC

Does this mod work with Other mods, or is there mods it does not work with at all?

I REALLY love this mod, but theres something I would love to disable... the z z z z z while dinos are sleeping (i just watched ark the animated series and want to have more realistic behavior :) )

I would pay for this mod to continue onto ASA and be developed more. It is my favorite mod of all time and it is one of a kind. Thank you Devs for such a wonderful time. I find myself often thinking back on all the fun times i had with this mod and how much it brings life to the dinos.

i looove this mod so much but its devs are on hiatus acording to mods page so i shall just unsubscribe from this mod but still give it a thumbs up and favorite it for later

to the beginning I loved the mod and adored it. but there is one super annoying feature, a reason to not have it at all, the auto random sit or lay down. I mean its cute but they also do it while following and not even stand up when being whistled which cost me a few of my favroite dinos already because I lost them while not noticing that they sat down somewhere or I could flee with them fast enough because you can not ride them while they sit. they need some time to stand up. so I would definitely get it again if this issue would be fixed but for now all it does is annoying me.

i think this team is or there ideas are apart of the upcoming ASA most of the features in this mod are said in the QOLs of ASA.

I've been trying to use it but it seems to cause an issue where argys can't pick up wild dinos and it is kinda my main method of less painful taming x]
Otherwise a cool mod that I hope gets more updates and a conversion into ASA

does this work with better dinos as their console command names are different?

Please continue the mod, I loved it! I really wanted to see animations in the creatures of the DLCs like Rock Drake, Magmassauro and Carcha, it would be incredible, I imagine the work with the other mods reduces the useful time to work with this mod, but please continue to work and update this mod!

Aberrant dinosaurs do not work (I believe that other types of X, Volcano, Rockwell). I think that picking up behavior from ordinary dinosaurs of the same type to them is not a very laborious task, but it makes it possible to play on all maps at once with this mod

Its a shame this mod is in limbo but its totally understandable. It was started 4 years ago and a lot of things can happen just with in a few months let alone a year, not to mention general burn out is a thing as well. I respect the ambition involved to even begin something like this because its not just QoL thing. Transcendence is quite literally the last piece of the puzzle for the game Wildcard promised for years prior to release.

Even if this is finished post ARK 2 I have a feeling people would come back for it, kinda like how certain Skyrim mods revive the game every now and then.

To answer some questions:

Why has there not been an update in a long time?

-Currently developing another mod in my limited free time as I have a family now and work full time. I try to focus on one mod at a time now instead of multiple due to time constraints.


Will this mod be open sourced?
-Probably not as I am still planning to do things with it eventually. I generally do not open source my mods.


Will this mod ever be finished?
-Not sure, depends on how you defined finish. This mod was not intended to add its features to every possible creature as Ark is continously being updated making it tedious to keep up. I would like to at the very least fix up the bugs when I find the time.


I am still semi-active in my main discord if anyone has questions or wants to discuss things via DMs. I do not generally look at steam comments due to months of backlog.

Should really pass the torch on this mod and your "DLC" one if you're not gonna work on it and if its funding or whatever just bring it up. This mod is quite game changing especially with Immersive taming; its something that should honestly be in the game already. Bringing some realism and life to this game is a great idea and if you quit ark or whatever make it open source don't be greedy/petty over something you don't care about anymore please.

Why does this mod add passive tamable trikes? Doesn't mention it in the description. So unnecessary and kinda breaks progression a bit

I'm not surprised the mod author quit, The ark modding kit is now like 7 trilobites large. If the creators themselves don't even care enough to optimize their game in 2022 why should he?

last update 2020.. a shame that the dev give up his mod without even delete or edet it.. even his new mod got its last update 2021.

Bolas don't work on raptors after we downloaded this mod. Even my OWN raptors will jump pounce on me and hold me hostage sometimes. I never got jumped on when I bola'd before and now despite them being bola'd they will jump on be twice in a row and I will be stuck being eaten to death, no matter what armor I have. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS MOD IF YOU PLAN TO BOLA!! Also the dinosaurs are CONSTANTLY refusing to rest when I ask them to but as soon as I walk away they rest. You WILL lose your dinosaurs. Old mod too buggy to use.

if you don't have the opportunity to develop a mod, just give it to someone enthusiastic, or write directly in the description: "the mod is frozen, the reason is: ". Or if work on the mod is underway, please, at least occasionally let us know that everything is ok.

Is there a mod that's like this? I feel there isn't and I'm really ashamed you just abandoned it like that after making a DLC version. If you aren't going to work on it or like require funding then ask your fanbase or give up the source files to someone who actually will work on this. You have a limited amount of creatures that function with this mod and its a great concept I felt someone was actually super passionate about, this isn't something randomly done because someone is bored this is a project that should actually already exit in ark but Wildcard ruins everything anyway so that's why mods exist.
