How To Use On HL:S Npcs:

#1 Get This Addon.

#2 Get The Submaterial Addon.

#3 Spawn On Any Map.

#4 Spawn In HL:S Npc

#5 Copy The Material Of Choice With Submaterial Tool.

#6 Apply Chrome Onto Npc's Chrome Texture

Shouldn't the textures show everything behind the player, instead of what's in front of them?

I've been trying something similar in an effort to get past the Source Engine's cubemap limitations, ran into a problem regarding the texture not always looking consistent on every map though. (if you're curious I took TF2's gold texture which is always shiny regardless of map and modified that, have no idea where this new problem comes from though since I made it pretty much identically to TF2's gold texture, which doesn't have this problem) Have no idea how you get it to reflect like the standard cubemap texture, mine is MUCH more limited, not actually reflecting everything but instead making it seem like the texture is metallic via faces. (just like TF2's gold texture) Wish someone would create a new reflection system for Gmod which would finally provide a better solution.

as far as i know it works with literally every map, that also includes HL:S maps
