If you can figure out how to set up the keybinds in the config file, it should work. But I've never tried it.

No official gamepad support. Trying to set up custom shortcuts in the dev kit that work for all devices is extremely difficult.

@LiaKorvein/TTV The idea of the config files is for this mod is to let you customize the hotkeys. I'm not continuing with this mod though because it just didn't work well for too many people. I also think you might be using the original AvatARK since this mod doesn't have a chi bar.

@RadRadish the mod ID of any mod is at the end of the URL of the mod page.

It would be AMAZING to be able to change the hotkeys for this. I dislike using Shift+Atl+H to heal when I'm trying to fight something. Also using abilities does not drain my Stam. It uses the Chi bar. Not sure if you're keeping things up to date or not.

no it's not in this version also tbh the fire and air and even earth attacks are pretty useful (especially air) it's just that water has short range and if you shoot it from the back of a tame it often just hits that plus you have a limited ammount of water to use so some upgrades for extra dmg would be nice (for all the elements) but either way this mod is pretty cool even if it's severely underpowered

@Drago that is the intention though I can't remember if I implemented it in this version or not (sounds like maybe I haven't)

@seibeni06 I've done some work on a third mod but it's gotten pretty painful to work with the dev kit, so progress has been slow. With the UE5 update I'm hopeful I'll be able to finish it!

So a little suggestion from me: Maybe make it so the attacks deal more dmg as you upgrade your melee?

Is there something like getting better at bending and it does like more dmg or something? If no then the waterbending water splash seems really underpowered it has low dmg and terrible range so it's just not useful after you get a combat tame unlike fire air and earth

Basic description:

- Get bending with craftable tea
- The basic movement abilities are always available, like double-jump and hold jump (and double-tap sprint for airbending)
- Press Shift+E to activate bending/attack mode
- With bending mode active, just click to attack
- Firebending has master abilities, hold attack to use them (switch between lightning and combustion using Ctrl+N, it's a temporary thing)
- Firebending can switch to blue fire with Shift+F
- Both airbending and firebending can fly with gliders by holding crouch and shift while gliding (though firebenders are limited by chi)
- For firebenders, illumination can be activated with Ctrl+1 and a flare can be fired with Ctrl+2

The glider feature has some weirdness ever since ARK introduced the sinomacrops, just a warning.

I'm not working on this version of the mod anymore, because I wasn't very happy with how controlling it worked out and it seems people have trouble with the shortcuts. I started a third version focusing on the bending that I'm much more happy with, but haven't had a ton of time for modding. Still slowly progressing though!
