Able to be "completed" in 2021. Just like everyone says, it's unfinished but still worth it. The writer knows the setting and teases out the right tone. You can't play a pacifist character and don't try a summoner because there's no spawn points or consumables for it. A couple weird bugs but they're mostly in how items are named, nothing prevents progression.

Man, too bad this one didn't get finished, it had an absolutely GORGEOUS start, top level storytelling. I hope some time you get to pick up writnig more stuff.
White Blaze 30 Jun, 2019 @ 10:38pm
hey, i was still impressed despite it not being finished. there was a lot of story, detail and planing thought out for this one. hopefully ya return someday

All things have a season, sounds like you're in a busy one. A side hobby is fun and maybe you'll have the time someday but no matter, thanks for what you've done so far. :rarebutterfly:

:/ I guess it is dead guys. I haven't touched it in years, I switched jobs and lost a lot of my free time in the process. Maybe one day I'l get back to it.
Dcard 25 Jun, 2018 @ 4:41pm
It was good so far... I wonder if it is still going or it has died.
Frenne Dilley 19 Sep, 2017 @ 1:17pm
oh no, it's unfinished is it? :abesticker:

Great story so far. Looking forward to when you have the time to finish it.

I am stuck, Nimil just told me we have a job to help a smugglerwho's truck broke down and we would each get $1000 so I said lets go and then nothing happens, I have left and come back in the shop, talked to everyone in town the mission won't start.
O'Connell 16 Apr, 2015 @ 11:30am
Nimil's garage is awesome. As far as favorite NPCs go, Nimil is a contender with some of the best NPCs made. Instead of having to sift through dialogue of him explaining his own complexity, like so many other NPC these days, I was left to explore his living space which was simple but perhaps one of the safest dafe houses I've ever seen. sweet!
CyclopticBrawler 15 Mar, 2015 @ 7:31pm
As much as I enjoy action in my games I'm equally interested in story. You have managed to create a story that is both engaging as well as compelling. Love the locals and the mission designs. Just the trip to Spanoka alone was such a refreshing change from the cookie cutter norm. Nothing really feels "static". Excellent job.
Will be following your work and hope to see it continue. Of course I know that life happens but I'll be waiting in hopes it allows you back.

Excellent start, but ran into a showstopping bug (#2). Same bugs as Ashjyr mentioned.

I came across two issues at the first run with Nimil:

1) At the last fight with the ghouls before going back to Nimil's garage, you can get infinite karma by clicking on the van and then cancelling. But maybe don't fix this!

2) After the returning to the garage, I click on Nimil and the camera angle shifts as though a dialogue screen will pop up, but there isn't any. I don't know how to progress from here.

Keep going! What a great start!:summersun:

Although this is great work so far (bar some minor typos and grammar errors), I think you probably ought to disclose the fact that this isn't finished in the description - it ended abruptly & I was a bit ticked off, since there were no signs this was a work in progress.

At any rate - story is unique and interesting, and the missions so far have been entertaining. I encourage you to finish!

i am also stuck at starting the misison after i talk to shaman, and tell Nimil "lets go" nothing happens, any way to get out of this? cause this is a game killing bug."

Same problem for me :(
Tomuma 10 Sep, 2014 @ 11:33am
great!!! I really look forward to it.
Omensign  [author] 9 Sep, 2014 @ 11:09am
I apologize, I had a severe change in employment status which has kept me distracted for awhile. I may return to working on it in the near future.
Tomuma 9 Sep, 2014 @ 10:42am
I really like it so far. but does not seem that you are working on it... by the way ashurakain: you better read the text.. nothing happens after it, because the story ends here...
ninedra9ons 3 Sep, 2014 @ 12:05am
This was fun, enjoyed the story so far. Hope more is coming soon!

Very nice concept. One of the best realised stories I have played. You actually have a personality and a character beyond just being a shadowrunner. I hope thant Omensign will find the time to continue to work on this story, a really nice idea that deserves to be completed in full.

Yes there are a few flaws, (new actor rather than Hellhound or Ghoul) but those are minor really don't detract from the game.

Congratulations
steelcoresoviet 22 May, 2014 @ 11:40pm
Leadout, I played as a shaman and it wasn't too bad. Just get a little weapon skill starting out, then make do until you can get the spells. Technically, the Karma reward makes it good for ANYONE to do that quest.

Great Mod, more would be greedily welcomed.
accxev 17 May, 2014 @ 7:51am
I really liked the story so far, it is catchy and I like the perspective of a character not equal to the typical shadowrunner but justifiable scared. Further, the low-tech approach is a very welcomed diversion to the other story lines I encountered so far.

So, thank you for making the effort, I am really looking forward to see how the story proceeds!
LeadOut 15 May, 2014 @ 9:33pm
This is looking very good so far, you just need to finish it! Come back, Omensign!

Some minor bugs:

1. I also had the fight with the ganger in the junkyard crash the game when I tried to run away from it. As soon as combat ended, the game froze on neutral turn.

2. When trying to buy things from the vendors before talking to Nimil, it gives you a warning about not having enough nuyen to hire a team (you need 99999).

3. In the last fight in the gang tagging mission, the hellhounds and ghouls are all labelled "new actor", rather than "hellhound" or "ghoul"

General story stuff: starting as a shaman in this mod kinda sucks. There are no spirit fetishes, and the conjuring spells available are crappy. Plus you have to complete a quest to be able to get spells at all. By contrast, mages get plenty of really cool spells from the mage vendor right from the start.

Wonderfully written story.
datestamp 7 May, 2014 @ 3:40pm
Was really enjoying this but theres a bug I have come across its when you go and see the sharman about your tattoo and you fight the two street thugs on the corner after beating them the game bugs out and you get stuck on neutral turn and are unable to carry on. Please update and fix this bug I was loving the story good work so far!!!
Kat 6 May, 2014 @ 7:05am
Really enjoying this UGC so far. The story's really engaging.

I just got the "Broken Down" quest, though, and I can't seem to start it. Every time I tell Nimil I'm ready to start, nothing happens. Any fixes for this?
Huggy Moleman 28 Apr, 2014 @ 8:59pm
The story is wonderful so far. Your npcs are great I really loved the grandpa character. Looking forward to more content, please keep up the good work! Bear for life~!!!
Aphex 28 Apr, 2014 @ 1:47pm
I found a bug. When you go to the junkyard to collect the treestuff for the shaman the enemy kills himself via casting and then the game buggs out. Tried it several times. So if you want to play as shaman you will not be able to continue.
$Mollz 1 Apr, 2014 @ 12:58am
Very eager to see the rest of this story, and to see where it all goes in the end. Wonderful writing, and a well put together atmosphere.
gmVASID 30 Mar, 2014 @ 3:41pm
Impressive work, clever use of the engine, solid story-telling in terms of structure, and my favorite bit is how in to the lore you got. We need more UGC like this and I hope you'll complete it soon.
O'Connell 30 Mar, 2014 @ 7:37am
You have earned a fan, nicely done.
Zane Grey 12 Feb, 2014 @ 1:18am
This UGC is Masterful! The story-driven content is designed exactly how a role-playing game should be. There is combat, perfectly where it makes sense in support of the story. Furthermore, I am blown away by the animations! You have taken an engine not built for such a thing and used it for your bidding. PLEASE continue part 2!
Herr von Unterfranken 8 Feb, 2014 @ 2:19am
Very heavy on the story and dialog part. As it stands now, the mod is a intro to what you semm to be planning, a lengthy and very well done intro. The devs should've done their campaign like this instead of rushing everything. I really liked it, helped me get into the story and wanting to know more. So well done!
But...once the character gets to be a runner, it kinda ends. I understand why, there's a lot of content compared to other WIP mods - it's still a major bummer though, when the mod really picks up and you can't continue =P I really hope you continue this, so far it has potential to be something special.
dryspaghetti 3 Feb, 2014 @ 12:37am
Fragging great run. Wish it said where it ended in the description. I don't mind scanning the comments too much, but it did have me thinking I'd run into a bug at first.
lazygamer7 5 Jan, 2014 @ 8:08am
Really fine work. Not only does it show a high level of attention to technical detail, it is quite well written - nice development of character and building of suspense. I really look forward to seing this completed.
kirtimlak 1 Jan, 2014 @ 3:45pm
Really nice! I agree with the previous comments that love and care for a good game can be felt. And that the vendors coulb be closer. And that nothing happens after @Lets go@ on the Out of town mission. Does it end right there for now?
neofutur 31 Dec, 2013 @ 2:51pm
very good addon, but it seems theres nothing for the "outside of town" mission ? is it normal that nothing happens whn you say "lets go" ?
Skullivan 31 Dec, 2013 @ 4:51am
Is this really only up to the part where you go on a run just outside of town?
elthereen 30 Dec, 2013 @ 3:36pm
Keep up the good work, I really enjoyed this UGC! :D
The Big Kahuna 25 Dec, 2013 @ 8:01pm
Exeptional game. I could sense the love and care that went into crafting this. There were a few glitches and the vendors could have been closer to the story arc fella to minimize running back and forth. However the story and dialog is very compelling. From what i played story wise its equal at least or superior to what a large gaming company would come out with. Please set up a donate site so the masses may fund your creativity and then we can all play a cool game faster =)
Bibs 18 Dec, 2013 @ 7:19pm
Very well done. I really enjoyed the dialogues and the story a lot. Keep up the good work!
sahneknuffi 11 Dec, 2013 @ 11:47am
Well written and excecuted, leaps and bounds above the majority of UGC. Thank you for this.
Partycrasher 5 Dec, 2013 @ 12:52pm
Very nicely designed and written so far - draws you into the story like the official campaign does. Dialogues are good and NPCs are well characterised.
Ornan 1 Dec, 2013 @ 10:22pm
Also if you select cancel when you're opted to return home after the graffiti mission you can repeatedly opt it to get infinite karma.
Ornan 1 Dec, 2013 @ 10:20pm
After the graffiti quest Nimil does nothing and theres nothing to do. When will this be fixed, or are there ways to get around it? It was enjoyable up until this point and I'd hate to discontinue it.
Sept Wolfke 27 Nov, 2013 @ 7:00pm
hey Omensign, Wolfke here, creator of Wolf Runners Inc. great job with the UGC pack so far, it's been my favorite to play lately and I just want to encourage you to make more content in the future, in the times when you're not burnt out on making content :) sounds like you've got a pretty epic storyline ahead of you with the start you've made so far with this content pack. looking forward to more.
OoooordEr 26 Nov, 2013 @ 7:53am
An excellent UGC all the way ! Please give us more :)
A Well Disguised Mongoose 24 Nov, 2013 @ 11:56pm
I gotta say I like where this story is going. Smooth sailing for me up to your current end, and the look and feel of the Cascade Orks in the Salish Shidhe is just plain awesome.
Rusty 22 Nov, 2013 @ 12:02am
Finished the Gang War part and unable to talk to Nimil. I click on him and there is an empty screen that comes up
