For now i'll provide a gdrive mirror of my workshop folder here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B_AoHvDBSRoDWjdXNjBFdFVsSnc&usp=sharing
The readme doc will tell you how to use it.
You might want to wait 10 mins after i posted this as i'm still uploading atm.
Deleted whole Workshop folder. Still can't connect.

also it could have been a round end event rather than map change.
i've ran the server for over a week on 22 players (without ns2 stats) without having this issue. twice now its crashed in an excessively short period of time running ns2 stats. if i disable ns2 stats or decrease the player count to 20 it doesn't excessively crash every 4-8 hours.
About those server crahses. That's probebly my favorite vanilla issue ever called "corrupted stack".
Remember those 32bit issues after Reinforcement, yep that's the same issue.
The mods itself don't cause the issue just can higher the chance that the issue occurs as every mod increases the total useage of memory cache (but don't ask me to fix that as i don't have access to the spark engine source )
So my question for you: Did your server was running populated 12 hours before? Do you have any ns2stats / shine errors in the log or and segfault pointing towards ns2stats or shine?
Also i don't want to sound mean but i looked at your serf perf log. And your server even seems to have issues handling 18 ppl at vanilla with 30 ticks (http://ns2servers.devicenull.org/servers/1176874/31.186.251.236:27056/)
Little tipp: Daily restarts and crash checks safe the day. Every NS2 Server should have a crash check running imho at least because of workshop timeout issues.
BTW: I investigated into the perf issues this weekend and wasn't able to see any dropp cause by ns2stats higher than 1 tick.
I will do another perf. test round this weekend.
Could i get the name of your server?
About those tickrate dropps: Do you se the webadmin ?
Because it causes tickrate dropps deluxe, just look at this: http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/comment/2189619/#Comment_2189619
NS2Stats itself only can cause some network issues if the servers upload bandwidth is to low.
NS2Stats constanly uploads log parts to the ns2stats.com servers, so the only major network issue i have noticed so far at major servers is at the roundend when ns2stats need to upload the rest of the log together with the hive data.
If you have tickrate issues i would suggest to disable the "Statusreport" ( aka Live Stats ).
I will look at this again over the weekend but so far i never heard of ns2stats causing hugh tickrates dropps on descent servers.
OFC you shouldn't run NS2Stats if you allready have tickrate and bandwidth issues without it.
ran my server without ns2 stats for 2 weeks. just recently i decreased the player count from 22 to 20 and installed ns2 stats. i'm observing more sudden tickrate drops then ever before. with the decreased player count, the average tickrate is however abit higher than previously.
i've noticed ns2 stats has decently high refresh intervals which could potentially explain this. the idea of sending data in bursts rather than a more constant method of transmission (ie. lower refresh intervals)
is there any possibily ns2 stats could track the server tickrate if it doesn't alway do this?

I'm going to fix that sh_loadplugin bug with the next ns2stats version. Butthere has to be another issue your server is not reporting to ns2stats.com (we changed ips to a new server maybe the dns cache hasn't updated yet)
For the last few days, it is not transmitting the round data anymore and I have no idea why.
If I enter "sh_loadplugin ns2stats", this comes out:

What could I do to make it work again?
I cleaned out the Workshop folder and made sure NS2Stats is enabled in Shine's baseconfig.
But this is still no reason to blame me, the ns2 linux version is still beta.
BTW. Great you found a fix, ill share it with the rest of the ppl.
but it's not our fault at all.
Look at this: https://github.com/Person8880/Shine/issues/307
Keep up the good work on the mod :)
I spoke to Person about it already, the game locks people out of the server until the next map change so when people rage quit (as they usually do) during the duration of a long game, no one can come into to replenish the team losses and this can lead to a whole server completely emptying.
It happened to one of my servers the other day.
I try to keep my mods down to minimum because of this issue.
There wont be so many updates in the future, also have you tried to use this (https://github.com/Person8880/Shine/wiki/Workshop-Updater)?
Any idea when the updates are going to slow down?
I appreciate the work but when ever the mod gets updated, my server gets player locked for a game due to the update and this can cause a server to empty :P
I unstinstalled and deleted all the files from the older version of ns2 stats.
Using the latest version of Shine.
