Despite the fact that TF2 takes place in the 1970s, it stands to reason to acknowledge the fact that teleporters and magic healing guns didn't exist back then either. I think this item is retro enough that it would fit in.

Tf2 has a 1950s - early 1970s aestetic. The power glove is from the 1980s.

It would be interesting if this was actually a reskin for the Gunslinger. Even if it doesn't make sense for the taunt animation, they could just change the taunt. :sentry:
