hi, i just wanna say that, despite Zheng Yan having the node for the active skill "phoenix's flame",even tho he's a Champion type hero, but when i activated the node, the skill doesnt show in battle, is there a way to fix it ? mending and blinding fury works fine, everything else is fine except that small bug

yes@LuisAlaguna92 I can say from experience it works with TROM TUP The special version of TROM with the MTU add on some of his mods work, trial and error mate.

Hello, can you make it compatible with WU as well? Some of the Generals does not show probably. I think it is new general or something, they still have the old skill tree.

I know there there is a WU-version, but it is even worst that can not bed loaded.

@firaeveusCarron, had a thought about the starting general problem. If anyones interested , it would probably be super tedious data wise, but I bet you could write a lua script that runs on campaign start, detects which start date it is, looks for starting characters by keys, and refunds/adds skill points by level difference from vanilla + mod.

@Hemdailiv might actually have some time today to look into Binding Fury, although i dont remember it ever not working

@FiraeveusCarron thats because starting generals allocations are controlled by startpos editing- which is a different form of modding, there can only be 1 mod active w a startpos edit at a time, therefore if I made these changes, no one could use my mod and MTU , or WuKing etc.

What's up with the default skill point layout for generals when using this mod? There are numerous level 4-6 generals in the 200 start date that have as many pre-invested skill points as some level 1-3 generals.

Well I'll be damned. Now opened and saved with RPFM and now it runs perfectly fine again.

I'm using PFM, as far as I know the latest version as well. It's just this one that is causing the issue as well, so I'm more then a little confused as to wtf is happening.

I'll check if PFM needs an update or if any of the schemas need an update though, thanks for the advice.

Odd little thing here: Whenever I open the file, change anything (even when I revert it to their original values) and then save it means the game won't start. Even if it's the only mod active. Any idea as to what's going on and why?

The Binding Fury ability isn't working properly. For anyone who wants to fix it themselves, replacing "Wind Up Stance", "Targetting Aoe", and "Active Aoe" under the unit_special_abilities_tables with their defaults (for this particular ability) fixes the ability.

There is very little rhyme or reason to the links. Its all trial and error. Dont connect too many to eachother. Make copies of layouts that work and re use them

I'm trying to make a mod that connects the middle row of all vanilla skills and was wondering how you managed to edit the node_links in this mod.

From my testing, I can't copy/paste the structure (2E to 2D, 2D to 2C, and so on) for every character or else the game crashes. It seems like the starting node decides the direction of subsequent parent/child links, but it also seems arbitrary for each character.

Got any tips? I'm having to diagram each character's structure and taking it case by case, in which case I'll never be done.

I've also noticed a parent/child link I made launching successfully but not actual link up in game, in my efforts as well as this mod.

Mod works, but I found that Champion's skill. For more specific, "Binding Fury". Skill still have cool down, still have active time, but It do nothing, or it do, but the skill's effect show nothing. I don't know. I test on vanilla, MTU and your mod. "Binding Fury" works perfectly, but not your mod. So, can you check on that matter ? Thank you.

Hello, is it possible that you know why it blinks just when I position myself on top of all the abilities?, your mod is spectacular, but it is a torture to try to read the skills while blinking, and it happens with all the characters and it is the only problem I have, thanks

So I figured out the reason, the color outline borders only works with skill nodes that have 1 level. Skill nodes with more than one level to them like some of your skills and most of mine, won't get the color outline

In my mod, I added a level 2 to all the vanilla skill nodes except for ones that give special abilities, that's why those get the color borders and the rest don't.

It's just a visual thing and doesn't really affect gameplay, but I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why they suddenly disappeared and now we know

Havie, quick technical question, not sure if you have any idea.

For my skill tree mod, I came across a weird bug where the non-abilities skill node's colored outline no longer show up when the skill is taken. The skill nodes with abilities are fine, just the ones that are admins/passive have this issue. You can see the examples in my Havie skill tree mod's screenshots

I noticed from your screenshots that you don't have this problem and the circle outlines show up fine in your mod.
I made my mod with an older version of your mod as a base, so I'm not sure if it's something that you managed to fix in a later version or it's something entirely on my end somehow.

1. Order shouldnt matter,
2. The only mod i know is compatible with new patch is this one, as Im not modding rn,
3. Correct - author of MTU broke compatibility by adding skill tree data entries for DLC06 WeiYan , XunYou ,and ShiXie . When theres 0% reason for them to. Until they remove this, nothing I can do.

three questions if you dont mind, does it matter for the order of these mods? and are they all usable in this current patch? and last but not least, picking up from what you said, on MTU it says its compatible with your skill mod, im going to assume that isnt the case any longer and shouldnt try to mix the two?
