the only thing that would make this mod better would be a snap attachment similar to how the S+ snappy saddles work.

why not you also add another item to this mod: the CONTROL.

A combination of seat and control desk and control stick, can be placed anywhere on the platform or on its added structures. If placed, the player can control movement forward/backward, slow turns to the right/left, and elevation changes upwards/downwards. Maybe there is a possiblity to add large screens (monitors) to the desk, and cameras to the platform wherever wanted. Each screen can address each camera with a number the player gave to the camera. Allows to see if structures block the view.

yeh i'm gonna make a NEW MOD for jump bases. think: smol air base 2 but you can build a jump drive on it and place beacons around the map and tele there. i was gonna add that to this mod but i'm still super wary of somehow mucking things up and people losing their bases. :) will post when it's uploaded!

I have some pics, but don't know where to send them? The mini-sub was 90% successful! I forgot to leave it floating to "Ride" from the bottom of the platform. lol.

I'll take some screenshots of the one I have currently (from the first MOD) and I am going to try an experiment with your smolairbase. It's probably won't work, but I am going to see if I can make it into a "sub" with the s+ vac chambers. If they float, I would make a boathouse like base that could also take to the air.

deblake60 - yes absolutely. Actually that’s specifically why I named the items in this one “airbase2”, so that the gfi codes for both still work :)

Also this way you can add the second one, build up an airbase2 or smolairbase2, and transfer your stuff from one to the other ( nearly instantly! With the s+ transfer gun ofc. )

I’ve built probably 20 flying bases at this point lol each time making improvements to layout .. btw I’d love pics of stuff y’all make! Just out of curiosity. I’m glad my work brings people joy :)

For the time being, is it possible to run both of your airbase mods?

deblake60 - OH also different platform i belev. and i'm adding another airbase type to *this* mod, that will add a couple features ( tba ) and also hopefully get rid of that annoying bug where on a standalone server, sometimes if you move the platform in some direction and then dismount its rotation suddenly changes.

nelgurista: Thanks for the info. Is there anyway to make these floatable? Also, if I were to switch to this version, I am I correct to assume my previous builds would be gone?

deblake60 - Also I added a small version of the base "smolairbase2", that has a saddle about the size of 2 to 3 foundations. but you can build waaaayyyyy out on it. so you don't *have* to have a lorge flat area inside, you can have a smol one if you desire.

deblake60 - tbh i can't recall exactly. I think this one has some improvements and slight changes. In the original mod, one of the times I updated it, it wiped out all air bases for everyone using the mod. so I got super paranoid about updating the mod and made a fresh new one.

What is the difference between this Airbase MOD and your other one (Which I subscribed to the other)?

Yes. The airbase easily fits the vac tubes. don't forget to keep the water drained. vac tubes fill as you build.

This mod rocked my socks. the building options become endless when you play with it just a little. I too have issues with spawning it some times but I just run along the beach till I hit a spot it will spawn on. Hell, I've even used these as roofing for large structures to avoid pillars. With some vacuum tubes, you can make a sub! Go slow when transporting critters and taking sharp turns. I've had some fall. Perfect for cruising around and just exploring the map. This is some god mode stuff for when you really wanna make a wild game, a little more wild.

HumanFate - Are you sure you have enough room in front of you to spawn the thing? are you spawning on land? I've had trouble in the past when there wasn't enough room in front of me

doesnt work for me it says Consumable but cant use it and its not Structure or BP. How do i Place it ?
