If someone took my sweet roll do you really think that I would report it? I am dragonborn ffs! I Would shout them to pieces like Ulfric did to King Torygg> Sheesh. Some guards have no imagination.

I heard a guard say this to me once & used the Clear Skies shout. It wasn't raining or anything but I can't make the Dragonborn scream "SHUT YOUR FRIGGIN' MOUTH!!!" so I did that instead.

I have a suggestion that i hope you act upon, like another mod i have that electrocutes a guard when he mentions the arrow to the knee comment; for yours i say let them say it but as soon as he says sweetroll he bursts into a mountain of sweetrolls, and im sure others would find this helps get out a bit of the frustration from hearing the phrase and also the random chuckle when you see the random pile of sweetrolls. Repost if you agree!!!

Fox: The arrow to the knee is a reference to Skyrim not having greaves in their assortment of armor, compared to all other TES games. Greaves protect the knees, but since Skyrim made the armor into one single piece, the arrow to the knee was supposed to be a reference to greaves being non existant in the game, but too many idiots just took it the wrong way and made us all hate the phrase.

I am aware of this Col. Frootzcat, I was just responding to what someone said about having bloody knees, because that would be inaccurate.

As in bending down on one knee to propose, similar to how your knee gives out when it's been shot by an arrow. The Nords were a bunch of bloody war mongerers for sure. -.-

Actually "Taking an arrow to the knee" was Nordic slang for getting married. When they say "I used to be an aventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee." They didn't actually take a litteral arrow to the knee, because that would be silly to quit adventuring, yet then become a city guard. They quit adventuring because they had to stay with their wife and possibly family.

The Sweetroll comment was funny the first few time I admit but it did get annoying eventually, so I might get this. Although something you could do is have the guard have bleeding knees under there armor or scars or something. You don't just recover from a arrow in the knee!

eh am i the only one who kinda liked them saying this? remeinds me of oblivion whare the guards would run screaming after you if you picked up eneything from 12 foot swords to sweetrolls and once with me a quill but good work eneyways

A place my family stops by sometimes on vacation sell sweet rolls. When we were at our grandparents house my mom grabbed my brothers sweet roll to put it in a cupboard, I just looked at him and said "let me guess, someone stole your sweet roll". I was hoping for a laugh, he just stared at me.

Good idea, but I like "Daedric Punishment for Insults Related to Sweetrolls" better. Much funnier, I even keep talking to the guards to get them to say it to watch the magic at work.

hahahaha good mod for people who get angry easy....I personelly love the line....Its a referance to Fallout three which was also made by bethesda....in that game a kid named Butch tries to steal your sweatroll and you can tell the guard about it.
