What setting controls the Squad Select Screen? I have my set to 2x speed but I'd prefer the squad select to be 1x (looks a little weird otherwise).

To change geoscape speed to 2, I need to change to UPDATE_SPEED=2 in 1793418015/Config/XComStillDontWasteMyTime.ini?

Does anyone know the name to speed up the animation of Templar Focus? It's nearly a 3 second animation at the end of every attack and drives me nuts.

FYI for LWOTC/LW2 players, the example config has a wrong entry: 'Holotargeting' should be 'Holotarget' instead. The former is the base game primary weapon passive, the latter is basic usage of the Holotargeter secondary.

Is it compatible with stop wasting my time or only use one mod? Cuz every ebd turn. There is this paused for like 3-5secs. Kinda annoying.. and also one sectoid moves encredibly fast, while the other sectoid and the rest of the units moves pretty normal to me. Includig the shooting etc.

I have just finished solving a crashing issue with this mod and LWOTC. Essentially, anytime I scanned for activity halfway through the playthrough the game crashed. I noticed occasional crashes before but thought nothing of them since they were one and done and I save frequently.

I believe its related to a dark event showing up as when I disabled the mod, I scanned, and a dark event revealed immediately afterwards. Could be wrong. Either way, crashes with LWOTC @Zin.

I dont know if this a good thing, that time on higher dificulties is precious, on the world map i would say is better left untouched those timings... for me the really usefull speedups are in animations of the squad and enemie units zooming of cameras etc... Regardless always good to have the option for who wants it! Thank you for the MOD

Does this work with LWOTC. It's not working for me. It must either conflict with another mod, the mods you need for LWOTC, or LWOTC itself.

Although I downloaded this MOD a long time ago I haven't used it till now.
Due to severe performance problems on two high-end machines (i9-10900K, 64 GB@2933, GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and i9-11900K, 32 GB@3200, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti) I gave this MOD a try because no "tip" I found in the internet works. With this MOD every menu appears in a hurry, each movement of soldiers (and enemies) or of the AVENGER... are really, really fast. Speedy Gonzalez is nothing...! ;-)
Please note that I previously used another performance MOD (with a similar name) which didn't gave me the performance I was waiting for. I haven't deactivated it so both MODs are working together. Maybe it's the combination of both for this incredible boost.
Until now I haven't changed any value in the ini-file. I think it wouldn't be necessary with these computers...

I think this mod increases how far each of your units can move. Default you can move lets say 8 squares. This mod increases it to 20 squares. Is there away to set movement back to default 8 or 10 squares. Cause 20 squares is a little excessive.

I think it affects every unit's movement, at least..maybe shooting and abilities too, but not sure...I just discovered I could speed it up last night so I don't remember. Just try it!

I just remove the Lost permanently (look up the mod I mentioned if you hate the Lost), personally. They waste too much time and are tactically very boring to fight.

DEFAULT_SPEED was originally 1. Now everything is much faster in combat. But one problem I noticed is that after this change, my soldiers will visually glitch and not look like they are on the tile that they are actually on. Is there a workaround for this? Maybe a middle-ground DEFAULT_SPEED where this doesn't happen?

Try changing DEFAULT_SPEED to a higher number like this:

If that doesn't help...uh I just removed the Lost with WotC Without the Lost mod. I can't stand how much time the Lost wastes.

By default, you have this in XComStillDontWasteMyTime.ini:

I think the UPDATE_SPEED controls the speed of Avenger on geoscape.

If tweaking that doesn't work, get the other mod "Stop Wasting My Time" by BlueRaja.

"Stop Wasting My Time" and "Still Stop Wasting My Time" don't conflict I believe (I've been using both together for 8 months with apparent conflicts).

Please, we need Stop Wasting My Time for Chimera Squad, I want to skip the APC cut scenes, and the agents walking speed is so slow at times, I want to speed up gameplay occasionally with a + / - keypress

Strangely enough some of the abilitiy speed ups don't work for me. For example, while rapid targeting works, holo targeting does not.

Yo yo, loving the speed up addition but I'm a little curious. I wish to revert the speed of the geoscape back to it's normal pace. Which ability in the notepad file am I looking for? I can't quite tell which one it is. Love some guidance on this matter!

Is it possible to modify the speed of the Chosen's various animations? I've had a poke about in the configuration files but can't see anything referencing them. A specific example would be the assassin's super-slow Harbour Wave wind-up.

Class transition stuff as well; e.g. the transformation from civilian to Faceless taking roughly a decade.

And since I'm basically doing a wish list at this point, 150% speed on the ADVENT Officer's "Mark" ability should bring it a little closer to when the target is actually marked; currently, the target is marked before the ADVENT Officer has even begun his animation (which if I remember correctly, is a bug in the base game).

Regardless, great work, Musashi! Always nice to see new interest in QOL mods!

I'm trying to edit the speed of skill 'trigger happy' from other mod by adding this command in XComStillDontWasteMyTime.ini:
+CustomAbilities = (Ability=TriggerHappy, Speed=2.5)
Unfortunately it doesn't change the speed at all :(
How can I make this work?
