Once you activated it, the diseases are there. You dont need to use it again unless you want to infect a greater population.
Mod can be loaded last and removed without any problems.
You dont need to add/change anything into your GUS but you can, if you want to tweak the settings.
Remember, join the Discord and you dont have to wait several months for a response :P
Sorry Prome, really I like your jobs, I'm start new server with your Best Mod Gaia form workshop =p
Varför skriver du med kyrilliska tecken för? Detta är Internet, det är 2019. Finns ingen ursäkt för att skriva efterblivet. Använd engelska som alla andra normala människor tack.
Regular mode infects X amount of creatures, those are considered carriers and have a base disease with the sole purpose of infecting humans with the "real" diseases. Initial build also infected other creatures aswell but it turned out that on low populated servers, the carriers usually died in large numbers before rasmitting it further to any humans, making the mod kinda useless. On a hiher populated server, its most likely another story. The results can vary alot, but I guess thats more realistic as a diseases in the wild can end up infecting large population of the wildlife, or die out byitself aswell.
Guess I can rewrite it slightly and have a option to enable transmitting to other wild creatures aswell. Thanks for the feedback.
Wouldn't a mode inbetween, with the normal diseases spreading like the extinction disease make sense?
On that note, would the diseases even have an effect on non-human characters or is it only a flag that marks them as a carrier humans can get infected by? In which case, diseases spreading back to wild creatures or to tamed creatures wouldn't make much of a difference except for keeping them going indefinitely in large herds.
What do you mean with spreading in all directions? Please elaborate.
Yeah thats true, currently all of them works like that. I wrote the description a couple months ago, alot have changed since then. In the public version, only 10 diseases(+ Extinction Event) made it. For various reasons. It'll change in the future when I readd those other diseases that dont have a duration.
Also, under properties you wrote that some diseases do not go away on their own and mus be cured, but all of the current ones do have a duration given, which indicates that they all go away on their own.
Which also would mean of one can somehow counter the damage done by the ones labelled al lethal, one could actually survive them.
