Its entirely possible that one of your mods edits the VMT (material) to load another texture instead. That would not cause any conflicts, because the mods do not technically edit the same files.
So that means you'll need to check any weapon mods or hud mods that might be editing the files.
You have another mod overwriting the hud files.

what's mor important though, a hud icon of the right gun, or a colored hud icon of a different gun?
and sadly there's a conflict between them. I was hoping for a choice option like you did with the sound mod.
If you want another mod to have hud images, ask that guy to add them.
Any chance to make the HUD icon as a separate mod?
