Neither the elevator nor the minisub's winches will go up all the way, and they won't lock.

I figured out why it wasn't flying. Its because when you spawn it in with vehicle damage it breaks

Whenever I'm in the air for like 10 seconds, I either flip over and crash or become unstable and one of the engines blows up. Any suggestions?

The cranes connector on the side (not the winch) no longer autoconnects but instead you now need to push it into place

How would you feel about me modernising the mark one platform? I hate to admit it but I've been working off a re-upload of this for a long time and as I have finally found the original creator I would like to ask if I can re-upload my work or not. It would be part of my specialist refitted vehicles workshop collection.

@Nuka Man There are a few possible reasons. My guess is you punctured a fuel tank. Also, the walls are full of logic, so you also probably deleted something critical. Another thing in the walls is fuel lines, so you may have deleted some of those.

ummmm..... If you remove the wall in between the submarine and the rest of the vtol, it stops filling with water, but then doesn't start, why??

I have not played in a while. Most likely the next update would be a rebuild from scratch, only keeping the overall style, as this was made before the LUA scripting tools.

Oh yeah, I am assuming that this is still being worked on? (In which case, you might want to replace the winches soon, since they are "depracated", and might break or be removed, and it's best to replace it when you still have a functioning template)

I was doing it in the way the game did it, if you look at the map. Also, z is usually up in modern games.

Okay, I love this, but I do have on complaint. The Auto-piolot is "X and Y" and altitude hold is "Z". While not a severe issue, the standard is Autopiolot "X and Z" and altitude is "Y". I mean, what you did actualy makes more sense in many wayss,s bsut if you look at the normal shape, y is facing up. Make a 2-d graph the face of a cube, y goes up. It's the standard, and even if yours makes more sense, it still isn't the norm. So, less of an issue than a request-bug...

@Maximus7525, this is a known issue. When autopilot is on, it sets the target position of the drone. When you turn it off, you then need to move using w/a/s/d to reset the target location to your current position. Hope this helps!

Really amazing vtol but sometimes after turning the autopilot off then the engines does sometimes not want to go the way i want them to go but exept that this is amazing

"How to use the minisub:
Go to the upper level of the rear of the vehicle, open the hatch, enter the sub, close the hatch, enter the driver seat, then click the dot in the upper left hand corner of the screen. This pulls up the menu.
Use deploy to release/retract the sub.
The + and - buttons adjust target depth
WASD controls
The winch value should stay under 500, which is the max length the winch can be"

then why not put a elevator system for the pilot and make the top the of the front the escape pod. dosnt need to be watertight it would only need a parachute and something to get away from the wreck

I have tried to make the front an escape pod, but there is no good way to do that while maintaining the ability to float.

i have a few things. the whole craft is nose heavy. if one of the engines go out its usually going down. fire supression systems. if they could be added to the vtol engines that would be great. and last thing is in case of emergency its pretty hard to get the pilot to the escape pods. might i suggest making the glass bridge area a escape pod as well? other than that this is a great build and i love playing with it

That is my current project. It is a medium large submarine, with the ability to run generators while submerged by using a tethered buoy for exhaust and air.

Hey, you could add something like a ramp for cars and stuff. its hard to get them on with a crane
