I know it is probably kinda pointless to post here, but very Interesting mod,
Orthodox icons are very nicely done.
On the other hand nestorians and coptics could be improved. I am not very skilled myself, but i made two small adjustments.

its nothing historical and more of a gamy mechanic, but coptic retirement will cause your inheritor to get motivated_ruler modifier.

And Nestorian Stele is giving piety, lower revolt risk and improve tech (while being able to be built in nestorian provinces as well)

Does this mod still work

No it shoudnt overwrite anything but since it adds new traits, it will reshuffle characters trait if used with an existing savegame, esp. if also using other mods that add traits.

No, i am currently not doing any modding work, so that won't be added anytime soon.

In the near future, will this mod plan to add baptism and coronation to the separate branches of Christianity? I know Miaphysite and Orthodox Christians practice coronation and baptism, not sure for Nestorian believers though.

Does this overwrite anything?

Thank thee. I'll check it out.

Idk, generally speaking i try to not modify existing files with my mods to pertain compatibility, even still some total Conversions might just make my mods have no effect by changing the vanilla tag. So yes it should be but i am not 100% on that.

Compatilbe with HIP?
Scarm  [author] 27 Aug, 2019 @ 3:51am
Technically it would yes, but that would also mean that culture /culture group couldn't willingly convert to the egyptian branch/wouldnt be eligible for the events, which i don't want. Also i personally don't care about it, and i make my mods primarily for my own enjoyment, and just publish them in case someone is annoyed by the same things i am.

@Scarm: I believe adding a simple NOT = {culture = armenian} when checking for eligibility could resolve armenians getting the events that are more appropriate for coptics. You could also go the other way by requiring the character to be coptic or part of some other appropriate culture. Just my 2 cents ;)

I think HFM already separates "Miaphysite" into Coptic and Apostolic (not sure about CK2+), so you could just turn this into a submod for it.

Fair enough. I don't have that much knowledge about modding yet so I thought maybe it would be possible through a modifier or something. I don't demand you to create a new religion. I have plans to mod those cultures myself as they are crap in the vanilla game currently.
Scarm  [author] 24 Jul, 2019 @ 7:24am
LordSwelk: I know that. Most likely not possible though without actually creating a spearate religion, which i am not going to do.

Here's some info. Paradox developers merged the Copts and Armenians into one religion out of sheer laziness rather than trying to make a historically accurate game. The Miaphysite features you listed are not part of Armenian church traditions or culture. So the Armenians should definitely be excluded from getting those features you listed.

should be able to form a communal government as Mazdaki religion, seems to be only available as a submod for ck2+ <~>

Great ideas.
