I'm using ABB, and can't figure out / understand how to use the two above mods. What line from this mod would I need to add to the XComClassData.ini for the classes of ABB (specialist, scout, ranger, agent, saboteur) to use these smg's? Again, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

in short: your mod is "incompatible" with the WOTC SMG submods, but said mods are already incompatible with the mods your version gains compatibility with, so no net loss, right?
In short, can this mod replace WOTC SMG Mod in any modlist without any detriment?
It's just a fun coincidence is what I meant to say.
Not trying to make an advertisement sorry but just wanted to state that I also just put out a class mod that has the SMG's as their own weapon category.
Hopefully this is the beginning of using other weapon mods as their own weapon types for class mods.
