AMAZING sound, just the right chambering delay to get snapshots off in action time, absolutely pulps the SHIT outta bad guys, legit one of the best bolter depictions i've seen. yes, including Warhammer 40K: Space Marine.

wish the model was better (try a shade and a highlight, and don't forget to thin your paints! two thin coats!!) but you know you got the look down solid and it feels friggin groovy to use.

11/10 would purge heretics again

@KabutoKai Y'know, i recall there used to be another remarkably cool sound sample that was that of the chainsword.

I know what you mean, I've ripped the stalker bolter sound from the Space Marine game, and made sure that at least 1 or two shots leads to a dismemberment. Some chunky recoil and minor explosive effect helps too :)

Hi TurtleBarbecue, wholeheartedly agree with your points, once I figure out how to update this asset, I will make efforts to improve the model and texture, I'm going to try some new techniques :)

needs more work done to the magazine. maybe rounded edges? more texture on the red as well. model looks to much like an outline being extruded. it is maximum action tho...maybe just the texture then. I digress , who am i to judge a bolter given to me. just show me my enemies. FOR THE EMPEROR!
