There was a mod adapted to version 4.0 before, why is there no more?

BUGS for 3.12: Kaldorai faction is absent in in Select empire menu window. Citadel end Stellar Bastion models are absent in ship apearance window.
there may be problems ingame too, but I don't tasted it furher more

Find the mod location (steamapps\workshop\content\1800624677 (this mod's steam ID)
Search for "hair_selector" through the mod folder using windows search, set the "file contents" option too, in additional search parameters (so that it can see the stuff inside text files too, not just search through their names).
Then go to each of the found files and replace "hair_selector" to "attachment_selector" everywhere.

@barricadedpurifier Thank you! I already did that, it helped! But apparently after some update one of my large number of mods began to cause unplayable lags, so, I stopped playing for now.

Heyoo! Adore the mod and what it's trying to do but I have noticed that the Unity that's being produced is significantly less than it probably should. Was producing 1 unity as a spiritualist government with the leader taking up 10 and in other instances was immediately spending 1 or 1.5 unity.

Some other feedback would be to maybe have the Kaldorei/Highborne mandatory traits cost 0. Even if they lost a few of the benefits, feels a bit overly restrictive.

Gameplay mods I was using;
Reworked Advanced Ascension, UI Overhaul, Gigastrctural Engineering, Improved Planet and Sector Automation, planet diversity (Exotic Worlds and Unique worlds submods), Elves of Stellaris and Mass effect Civilizations Asari.

Tried changing the empire spawn value to "yes" and they still won't spawn. Or even show in the default empires bunch.

Hi, not sure if it's a mod conflict but some of the kaldorei jobs are not working, pops still prefer being servants over half of the jobs within the mod.

Silver_Vraith: 3.2 caused a change to jobs so they have to be fixed with the new patch before they work. Will have to wait for mod to update.

This may just be because of the new update, but whatever I do, Quel'dorei will always end up as Royal Arcanist instead of most other jobs. Same with Kaldorei, almost always ending up as purely servants. Jobs such as Diviner and Magister are always empty even when prioritized.

I enjoy the mod but the conjuration repeatable techs keep being prioritized by the auto researcher. In the late game with 5k+ energy and minerals per month I dont really like constantly picking up +10 of each.

I can research manually but it gets bothersome to multi task during wars. I wish there was an edict or decision on the capital planet to disable them or something. Like having the techs require a country flag and an edict/decision that could swap them.

Well i did not overwrite or edit the factions. The names are.. well just names. The pop factions are kept vanila. Court of farondis is the materialist faction now why it pops up and dissapears i don't know. But.. i surely made a mistake somewhere since not being spiritualist shouldn't be an option^^

I understand, thank you very much! : D

1) I am not much of a suggestion but here are a couple ... if in the future you want an excuse to have power ... there are the arcane stars, which I understand will have MUCH MORE power than the well of eternity, you can always build a cute ring to collect all that raw power, for the glory of the Kaldorei empire!

2) An arcane star eater! Instead of transforming a star into a black hole, you somehow turn it into an arcane star to collect its power.

Maybe that makes the empire more op even xD

and now a BUG: I changed my governance ethic from Spiritualist to Materialist ... and now I have an infinite loop of creation every 12 months on a faction ... "Court of Farondis" is always the same faction creating itself over and over again.

Again, thanks for this mod, it's great!

Yeah it was meant to be a vanilla playstyle actually. I may consider something like it but generally it was meant to stay vanilla^^.

I have a question:

If I start a game as Eldre'thalas I have something (event, quest, archaeological site ... kill the damn stellarite devourer to use his core as a power source or something) to unlock all the arcane buildings / weapons / technologies and produce the new resource ?.

I thought "Remnats of the Empire" was a vanilla start to progress to the Arcane precursor, but I finished a game and never unlocked anything :(

And that's it ... thank you very much! As a fan of the Kaldorei Empire I am SUPER THANKFUL for this mod!

I am glad it shows up at least! universal resource patch is a must have unfortunatly for playing with many mods which add resources.
