and this is old
there's normally a flat platform of metal where the seat attaches to the bucket. but for some reason, that platform is placed upside-down, the result being that there's a big, gaping hole in the bucket and you can see the inside of the model.
spawn Robot Plankton and look at the top of his Bucket, then clip inside and look up. you'll see what I mean. shouldn't be too difficult to fix...
if you've seen GM_Construct in Gmod, (dunno if it's in SFM, I never checked in my brief time trying to learn how that works,) you'd know there's two big buildings in that map. Robot Spongebob Easily dwarfs the smaller building in size, he's so huge!
just a quick heads-up so you don't end up spooking yourself spawning in the big guy like I did...
I think the idea is that T-Pose is easier for weight painting. so when you move the model's limbs, bits of the model you didn't want to move wouldn't move with it.
I made this screenshot after I found a way to get this pack into Gmod as an Effect. I was able to pose it because I used the Animated Props tool to turn it into a Prop, which I can then pose with the Advanced Bone Tool.
I am NOT distributing it in any way- I would never do that. I just really wanted to make something with this model, but I couldn't want to wait for it to be uploaded to GMod Workshop- nine times out of ten it never does- and I didn't want to use Source Filmmaker. I cannot use SFM to save my life.
I say "sort of new" because it was in the gameboy version and was in concept art of the version of the game where these robot models came from.
anyway, like I mentioned there, I have since then tried to do something about it in-game, and it can't be done there either- the eye and pants textures share the same material slot, so I can't make his eyes see-though without making his entire lower body see-through as well. oh well...
Thank you random stranger for giving me nightmares.
