Much respect to all the really good map makers that make really good well polished maps though!

Determined to prove my point, I began to create a map. 13 minutes in, i gave up. You have my apologies.

Hm. Chanoix, have you made any example maps to show what you mean?
Chaonix 26 Jul, 2019 @ 8:25am

scale seems wack too empty good idea tho

That may be a bit harder to implement.
Though if you put islands of munitions/fuel connected to larger manpower points, manpowere regions connected, you might be able to implement that idea based on expansion or capture resource and dig in... maybe.

Another idea; you could throw in some pre-existing guns like artillery or mortar bunkers (some stationary some not) for infantry to capture, have the bigger ones further out which gives players the choice to either focus on capturing linked territory and potentially miss out on these heavy hitters, or rush the guns to secure them early but possibly hurt their economy and territory at the start.

I'll keep that in mind for version 2 when I get around to it!
Slinkerdeer 22 Jul, 2019 @ 3:13pm
yeah that would be great, lots of field debris like destroyed tanks and overturned horse carts and other stuff like that not only makes infantry combat way more viable (due to available cover), but its more interesting and looks better

I'm going to work on a version 2 and try and add some more features and like craters and what not...
Plant_Boy  [author] 22 Jul, 2019 @ 2:13pm
Yeah, I should spend more time crafting a world and adding detail...

the idea of a trench warfare map is pretty cool but this map just incredibly lacks in detail
