Update for 1.2 please. Thanks.

That occurs due to the fence being Standable or PassThrough. I just used the base program of doors on it, which is the reason why it happens.
Overhaul for the mod should be close. March 30 was my intended time, but due to some unforeseen texture problems, I might move around April 5.
@Vats
Overhaul should have that covered.
- farm and picket enabled by default
- closeboard, solid behind complex furniture
- brick fences behind stonecutting
- bar behind smithing
- chainlink behind machining
It feels a bit awkward to see my tribals being able to build chainlink fences by default.
I've already implemented that in the overhaul's settings. Hopefully, if things go smoothly, I can release it before the end of the month.

I've separated any additional content so most of everything new will be optional. The only change the overhaul has are mostly textures and fixes (like gates) that I wasn't able to fix on this one. Though one negative thing about the overhaul: 1.0 won't have settings. Settings for the overhaul relies on ToolBox, which is only for 1.1.
It took longer than expected, but I've made a solution for that problem:

It's called Thing Begone! It a setting that lets you hide ThingDefs.
The textures also seem fine. I'm a perfectionist in my own endeavors, so I guess I can't fault wanting to do them again to "fix" them.
Can't help but feel this will be one of those mods that I eventually have to drop because the author kept complicating and fixing it to death and made it worse in the end.
My apologies for being the voice of opposition. I do look forward to what you come up with but also nope you remember us outlier folk that prefer simple add on parts vs big sweeping time sucks that have you pouring over 100 squares trying to find that one gate you know is in there...
Cheers..!

This mod will support many other mods I'll be making in the future.
As for news about the overhaul: I'll be retexturing most of the fences. It feels a bit too detailed for Vanilla. Though, I will make a patch for the old textures, for anyone who prefers them. I will also make a repository in Github that will contain all the fences I will make. You can then choose the ones you only want. There will be a guide to help you.
Yea, they're from the Vanilla Furniture Expanded mod. You can check the Contents category of that mod's description to see.

It's from the Vanilla Furniture Expanded. There's a link in the recommended section.
Updated!
Was the first thing i thought about. Works fine now, nicely done.
-Fixed 1.0 incompatibility.
-Once again compatible with 1.1
Just changed the code, which was a definite wrong move. I've fixed it already tho, just not updating right now. That being said, the Vanilla Fences (Fence tab) has been fixed and updated with 1.1 compatibility. I'm just waiting for any bug reports on that side before updating this one.
