Hi, not sure if you're still active, I just wanted to ask about HIP's latest update compatibility with your mod. I can also see many people asking about the 0 bonus from books. Is this happening because of the stacking or it's a general bug?
Cheers!
@Philip Much appreciated, added them to a list, thanks. Will add more at some point.
Chronica Majora by Matthew Paris
Words on the Wars by Procopius of Caesarea
La Chanson de Roland by Unknown
Devisement du Monde by Marco Polo
Some mods I run that might be causing trouble: All Artifacts at Once, No Artifact Losing?
Here are some books that should be added:
Vita Constantini by Eusebius of Caesarea
Divina Commedia by Dante Alighieri
Summa Theologica by St. Thomas Aquinas
Alexiad by Anna Komnene
Synopsis of Histories by John Skylitzes
Chronographia by Michael Psellos
Chroniques by Jean Froissart
Life of Saint Louis by Jean de Joinville
The Deeds of Louis the Fat by Abbot Suger
@Brigge I have tested and yes, it works with HIP.
If in the interface file (cbs_books) in your mod, you specify it to be a jpg file rather than a dds then the game will recognize it.
removing the need to convert everything in to dds
Maybe you could add the Livonian Rhymed Chronicle as well? It's in Middle German and very Martial.
The transliteration of "Gya" is faulty in English so they often mistranslate it to "Jna" or "Dnya" or such. The correct is still "Gya".
-Summa Theologica;
-Confessions of St. Augustine;
-The City of God;
-Summa contra Gentilles;
- Legenda Aurea;
-The Decameron;
-The Divine Comedy;
-Il Canzoniere;
-The Canterbury Tales;
-The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle;
-Grandes Chroniques de France;
-The Guide for the Perplexed.
Unlikely. I wanted this mod to mostly contain books that were contemporaneous with CK2 timeline. Ancient/mythical books might be good content for another mod though.
@Chuck
Both 'Gallic Wars' and 'Civil War' are in there ;)
Thanks
@Horse
There is one African book that spawns, the Sundiata Kieta. Arab works spawn in North Africa too.
@Douglas J. Falcon
Should do, currently trying to get access to CK2 forums so I download the big mods and test it myself.
