It is clear the Universe is in dire need of a cubic Earth and cubic terraformed planets and gas giants!

We are the Borg. Existence as you know it is over. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.

There is no way (at all) that I can make a cube solar system. Stars, for example, do not use textures and just look like normal dice when cubified. Trust me. I tried.

Another problem would be the lack of water. Earth would become a barren planet, like in my "Flat Earth".
oldschool 20 Nov, 2019 @ 6:05am
Lol! Pls make cube solar system! (Minecraft Solar System lol)

If I were to spin it really, fast wouldn't it turn into a sphere?

This is actually a pretty interesting topic that's been discussed a number of times (e.g. https://web.archive.org/web/20170809185441/https://gizmodo.com/how-gravity-would-be-different-if-the-world-were-a-cube-1492018223 ). Unfortunately, adding climate/atmospheric simulations at the requisite level of detail to US^2 is probably beyond the scope of the software.

1. It's called a dice.
2. Object modding.
3. Don't post multiple messages on the comments section at once.
4. No memes!

Wait how do you retexture a dice?

I don't like meme comments. I actually forgot what yours was, I sometimes delete them on accident.

@Chocle75 Why you removed my comment? I'm subscribed to this.

epicgamer, gravity would work weird on a cube shaped planet. Gravity would be gentle when you were standing in the middle of one of the flat sides. As you started walking towards where the sides meet, or to the corners, gravity would become stronger and stronger.
PS- I am a physics student :)

epicgamer 22 Jul, 2019 @ 10:38am
what would gravity be like here?
CurtisBackfishDrums 20 Jul, 2019 @ 8:53pm
Epic Gaymer, it has nothing to do with the weight or size of the planet, when the mass of the object hits a certain point, the object's own gravitational pull will crush itself into a spherical shape. Yes, you could theoretically have a asteroid sized cubic body, but it would have to have extremely low mass. in order for it to have low enough mass to keep a cubic shape, it would likely need to be hollow which would pose it's own problems.
dillon101001 20 Jul, 2019 @ 8:15pm
also cube planets can exist as long as they are light enough to not crush themselves into a ball. (think asteroids). the maximum size is still far under what we would consider a planet though.

@Chocle75

fair enough. (I couldn't figure that out. Comments deleted... Really my fault though. Well... that explains why I got confused (Logically speaking, it couldn't be a meme, and if you delete them, why would it have been there...)

And, thanks for the guide!
riverrat024 19 Jul, 2019 @ 9:21am
ok
Chocice75  [author] 19 Jul, 2019 @ 8:50am
@CTH2004 I wasn't talking about your comment, it was some comments I deleted earlier.
If you want to learn about object modding, read this guide: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1799793912
CTH2004 19 Jul, 2019 @ 8:34am
wait, is that considered a meme? interesting...

well, don't bother deleting it, way ahead of you now that I know it's a meme... (I don't keep up with that side of the internet, so I don't know what are currently meme-s, or even what you are using as a definition)

also, how does object modding work?
Chocice75  [author] 19 Jul, 2019 @ 2:22am
Like I said before, stop posting memes.
I will not stop deleting the meme comments.
