If I recall correctly; the AI will attempt to build larger armies across the board as Venlesh did make adjustments to their maximum army size (on top of infantry and archers taking up less population which results in more being trained due to the max army pop size not being reach as quickly as vanilla) - especially if it's a conqueror AI type. I don't play on Hard so I cannot really comment on how large their armies can be.

Do all these also apply to the computer in single player campaign? Like for instance should I expect the CPU to also modify their army units/size based on the new population cap of 500? Does that cap also apply to them?

Pentek: No Idea frankly, never had any issues personally, just seems like a peer-to-peer connection issue.

Luciano: You have to build fortress-class buildings to advance to Heroic now.

I love the mod, but i got a litle issue whit the multiplayer.
In singelplayer you can build the wall how it should be, but in multiplayer when i build the wall it only builds the pillars and between let it empty.
Did i meda somthing wrong or?

There is a mistake in playing with the Chinese, it does not allow you to advance to the mythical age having already built a market to be able to reach that age.

Just to know, because the full mod for sure ain't getting into retold. Could you port the maps of the mod to retold? This mod really has the absolute best maps of the age of saga in general and it could be an absolute blast to play it in a modern engine that's not as janky

I removed Cannons and Musketeers from standard play for not fitting the tone/setting/style of the game. ATM you can hire Atlantean Arquebusier mercenaries on the Azores map; but the next update will be replacing them with Pavisers.

After I finish the upcoming Expanded Mod campaign (this will get a proper announcement when I feel it is almost ready - if anyone has been exploring the EM Editor, you'll get a rough idea of what I am making. Hint: it has nothing to do with the Trojan War, that plan was abandoned years ago), EM is going to be retired beyond the balance/bug fixing for a short period (once that is done then there will be a big final masterfile released on Moddb and AoMHeaven - so get your bug reports, nitpicks, and suggestions in ASAP), and I'm going to prioritise my GZDoom project.

Nope, any plan to port with Retold died when it was confirmed that Retold was based on AoE3DE's version of the engine; which is a can of worms I ain't gonna open. Combined with the fact that Resold also doesn't have the necessary tools for custom models (yet) and the 4K UHD nature of it's graphics mean that EM would require a team, and from my experience that alone makes EM unviable to port even in the long term. Also the fact that it's SysReqs require having a relatively newer computer, and I ain't upgrading for one game lmao.

You can also exchange resources for Favor in Temples; that's the primary method now. Sages are just a passive bonus.

How do the Chinese gain Favor in this mod?

Because originally the only way they gained Favor was building Gardens, how does that work in this?

The new Longhouse at the moment.

Next patch is just going yo move the eco techs back to Ox Carts. Longhouses will still be needed for heroes and training herdables.

That's because most mods overwrite each other based on their priority and the nature of data files being mostly static instead of additive - unfortunately that's just the way it is.

EM does however make tweaks and changes to increase population limits (overhaul of pop counts, techs that either give buildings population, or increase existing population expansions, Wonders provide population, etc) - the next update will remove the housing limit at the compromise of decreased population increase (though can be restored with the Urbanization tech for Egyptians, Greeks and Chinese)

So I found something that has to be a bug. Isis monuments now block ALL god powers including your own. I found this out when I attempted to use prosperity and it wouldn't let me cast it near my villager monument. The god power blocking isn't to my knowledge supposed to affect your own or your allies powers.

Intentional, you have to sacrifice resources in the Temple to gain favor primarily though Seers trained from the Monasteries can very slowly generate favor.

Not sure if I've done something wrong or what but playing as the Chinese is now broken as Gardens no longer make favor. You can't even select favor as an option so they now act like stunted plenty vaults.

Wonder (50 pop), fishing settlements for docks (1 or 2 pop can't remember), urbanisation (+5 pop per house iirc, total of +50 pop), Sanitation (+5 or +10 pop per TC) with 3 TCS is something like 305 pop.

Currently a campaign about Atlas (the King of Atlantis mentioned by Plato) is heavy WIP. I can't say much, but it's more than just B&D (though most of it still is) and don't expect anything on the scale of Rage of Poseidon or the LOME Campaigns.
