Really interesting. I wish there was a way to turn off the attack animations on strikes though, for some reason they aren't sped up by SuperFastMode

Very fun character, I'm just having issues with dropped frames really bad. Idk if the objects that get thrown aren't being despawned properly which is causing unnecessary bloat or if it's something else, but it does make the character a might unplayable. Is anyone else having this issue?

got a crash involving the jammed printer relic, it seems to crash after trying to draw the final card of the deck, which happens to be the top one.... It might have made my current run impossible to finish :steamsad:I killed hexaghost with neow's lament on :steamsad:

Interesting character. Take Inventory and excessive exhausts allow for some pretty degenerate combos. So no matter which cards you get, you can try building one.

Fantastically done: it's very different to the base game characters yet is pretty balanced with them, all things considered. The only "flaw" I can find is that sometimes your combos are way too long and complex for their actual effect: something that could be accomplished on a base character with 3-4 cards requires 6-7 here, which drags out sometimes. One final thing: I really like the card artwork, it's very well chosen and makes it easy to distinguish different cards at a glance, something other mods fail at.

the in game description for the stats cards says they [Purge] if you don't have enough stat, however they actually are only [Exhaust]ing, which drastically changes how one plays the character and makes card decisions

I don't think it is a bug, the 'get the reward for the act 2 boss quest inmediatly, if I get hte quest in act 3' i mean... you already did that, didn't you?.

I really applaud you for how well the stat system evokes the feeling of the comic. But I'm not sure it's actually fun gameplay; it just means you have to wait several combats with a dud in your deck before you can play some cards. Most with 10+ stat cost are totally OP, like Truffle Trouble and Diabeatdown, as are the midnight cards since the downside is negligible (at least if your main stat is Vim). Even the starting "Diplomacy" card is a True Grit+ stapled to a free strike.

I do love the Drop/Retain mechanic and the murals though, those are great fun. And all the deck-stacking mechanics too.

One bug: The event where you have to pick a side in the war occurred twice for me, the second time in chatper 3. When I picked the "reward after act 2 boss" choice I immediately got the relic.

I wanted to mention the "Force Deck", "Fudge Deck" order of operations issue again since I dealt with it recently. If you play "Force Deck" first than "Fudge Deck", I'd expect to draw 2 than topdeck and discard. Instead you'll draw, topdeck followed by draw, discard rendering "Force Deck" accomplishing nothing useful.

Also one of their tooltips is broken when mousing over character I don't remember which. Great mod though, it really fits the original source well!

Getting a crash on Donu and Decu sadly. Otherwise one of the best mods ive grabbed for StS and a very good tribute to Problem Sleuth!

My only question is are you going to add the famed SEPULCHRITUDE ?

Love the animations and flavor. One question though: how do you scale as this character? There's tons of ways to get frontloaded damage and body hallway fights, but I think the closest thing I saw to a scaling card throughout my entire run was "str +3"

Sleuth has been updated:
-Fixed a variety of bugs with audio and other miscellany.
-Sleuth's cards now function on other characters correctly!

Hey! First of all, really great mod, I love it! The strats and combos are really interesting, good job!
Sadly I found 2 gamebreaking "combos" :
unceasing top + mustache fire = endless loop of mustaches

Truffle Trouble + Fortune (evolved) + Take inventory (evolved) = infinite cycling if your deck is small enough (thiscombo is harder to achieve but I feel that having too many cards costing 0 with a drawing effect lets too much room to exploits.

@Gottschkopf Guardian's sharp hide applies whenever an attack is used, not whenever it takes a hit (like Thorns). Key/Handgun (and attacks for which you don't have enough of a stat) is always an attack, so it always triggers sharp hide, pen nib, etc.

@KhooblyKhan Yeah, that error's only happened to me one time and went away with a computer restart. I do have a hunch, though: did you have Hit the Mattresses or Diabeatdown in your deck? Those are the only audio-related cards that might cause that crash from this mod.

Unfortunately this error has been around for a while and I can't seem to pin it down :(. It's very rare, so shouldn't matter too much, but I'll always be on the lookout for a fix. Sorry!

This was working perfectly fine for me (and it's amazing btw), but now I'm on the last boss, and when I beat him, the game crashes. I still have my save at the start of the fight, so I've tried several times, and the same thing happens. No message, just bam, closed. I'm fighting that Time Lord dude, if it's maybe boss specific, I dunno. Or could it be because I'm running the newest version of StS?

Force Deck applies before Fudge Deck, this basically renders Force Deck pointless if you have Fudge Deck Active, Unless you have one spesific Relic which is hard to come by if you have any mods adding Relics

"Fudge Deck" has a broken tooltip, just a heads-up.

Fortune doesn't interact with the Midnight cards correctly. When you gain temp Imagination it's cost decreases, but when you lose it the cost increases - even if the total cost should still be zero. If I have 9 temp imagination and lose one to Heart Stab, Fortune's cost becomes 1 - when it should be zero because I still have 8 temp imagination.

Hrmn. Not sure who the culprit is, but there's something crash possible here. I had a giant jumble of cards and hubris and infinite spire running

(BTW, moderate manipulation and WPS is stupid OP. I love it. Fortify, Taze, Charisma Blast, Torso Flail, and some draw power and I was in infinite loop town.)

One last thing I noticed, but I quite like even if it is a bug is that Weigh In for some reason produces of copy of itself at its upgrade level when you draw it. I assume its a bug because nothing on the card says anything about you getting an extra copy.
