Don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but i feel like 1.6 is coming out sometime this year...
avml7 11 Aug, 2023 @ 10:44am
Also if it works fine you can just add 1.4 tag to it so the error doesn't show (just fyi ;) RL first always)
Karmapowered 28 Jun, 2023 @ 11:25am
No worries, and thanks for the reply.

RL first and always. We're just going to wait patiently ^.^

PS: and I'm going to try out what you said in the meantime!
[56e] Adda  [author] 28 Jun, 2023 @ 11:17am
Hey. I am still trying and failing miserably. Life is demanding :) However, in the meantime, you can still use this mod without any problems. It should work as intended except for the warning about mismatched versions.
Karmapowered 28 Jun, 2023 @ 10:14am
Would an update to 1.4 be possible if time allows please ?

I still haven't found a mod that does the same than this one in a way that integrates as smoothly to the game world.
[56e] Adda  [author] 12 Nov, 2022 @ 1:59pm
Thanks for the heads up. Will keep it in mind for when I update the mod. Thanks for checking this out for me.
qc 12 Nov, 2022 @ 12:20pm
Have had a play with just this mod installed and have encountered zero errors playing and using the drop spot, so it looks good. Sorry to hear you're struggling, be safe.
[56e] Adda  [author] 12 Nov, 2022 @ 11:55am
Hey, @qc. As far as I know, the mod should work for 1.4 without any problems. I am just overwhelmed with life that I have not been able to get to updating all of my mods yet. I plan to update them eventually. Things just have to calm down first a bit for me. Sorry. You can try the mod as of now. If there are any problems, you could let me know and I will write it down for when I get to updating these mods.
qc 11 Nov, 2022 @ 2:23pm
Hi @Adda, I really like this mod. Do you have plans to update to the new version of Rimworld, 1.4?
[56e] Adda  [author] 11 Aug, 2022 @ 1:01pm
@VolatileGlitchAviator Hello, thank you for the notice. I am sorry there seem to be problems. The mod works for me. I will investigate if this is something a new patch broke, maybe. However, the recipes are something so rudimentary that, if you can see a corpse, an item or whatever in the list for the drop spot, it is up to the game engine to find a suitable corpse or an item to use for the recipe somewhere in the world. That is not something I have much power over or something I have modified in any way. Strange. Let me know if you find anything interesting.
VolatileGlitchAviator 8 Aug, 2022 @ 8:09pm
New game or old save i keep getting (needs materiel) even when i have the corpses rate next to it or items or whatever, not entirely sure what i am doing wrong did corpse i did item and specified what it was singular and it still said needs materiel.
[56e] Adda  [author] 1 Aug, 2022 @ 12:03pm
@VolatileGlitchAviator There is no need for a new game. You can add the mod to a previous saves safely. However, I would always make backups of the saves before changing mods, just to be sure :)
VolatileGlitchAviator 30 Jul, 2022 @ 2:23am
Does it Require a new game or can it be done on a previous save?
[56e] Adda  [author] 26 Jun, 2022 @ 9:18am
@Dr. Sugar Freeman That is just a coincidence, I am sure. Some animal has died there or something. Enjoy.
SugarFreeman 26 Jun, 2022 @ 8:46am
The water smells putrid. :skele:
[56e] Adda  [author] 6 Jun, 2021 @ 7:31am
@TurtleShroom Sure, I have no idea how all of them got there, either... ;)
TurtleShroom 5 Jun, 2021 @ 7:07pm
I do not recognize any of the bodies in the water.
SY1102 17 Apr, 2021 @ 2:45am
OK i know
[56e] Adda  [author] 17 Apr, 2021 @ 1:39am
@SY1102 Ah, sorry, my bad. That is not possible as far as I know. Because stone chunks are carried always one by one (for example for electric smelter), I cannot force colonists to carry 25 stone chunks in a bulk. They will have to be dropped one after another. There might be a mod for bulk carrying of stone chunks and that could probably solve the issue, but I believe it is not possible in the base game.
SY1102 16 Apr, 2021 @ 4:17pm
@[56e] Adda
My situation is that there are 25 stones in the inventory, but the types are different, and the colonists will not act.
[56e] Adda  [author] 16 Apr, 2021 @ 1:21pm
@SY1102 Do you mean different stones in a single drop? Or just drop this type of stone now, next that type etc.?
SY1102 16 Apr, 2021 @ 12:22pm
@[56e] Adda
???
It may be that there are incompatible mods in my list, which will cause only a single stone to be dropped.

let me check
[56e] Adda  [author] 16 Apr, 2021 @ 9:32am
@SY1102 Do you mean different types of stone for example? It should already be in the mod, if I am not mistaken.
SY1102 12 Apr, 2021 @ 12:46am
Can drop anything support different items?
For example: different stones
[56e] Adda  [author] 6 Nov, 2020 @ 8:44am
It may not be the best technique known to mankind, but when it may mean survival of one's colony, I'd go for it.

A water based nuclear waste disposal option? Starting to feel my inner Mr. Burns
[56e] Adda  [author] 22 Aug, 2020 @ 3:41am
@Winter's Slumber Hey, glad you find this revival useful. I have already got this suggestion earlier, but this greatly exceeds my RimWorld coding capabilities. If someone was willing to do it and send me a PR to my GitHub repo, I would gladly use it, but I alone cannot implement this. I am sorry. Have fun :)
Burnout 21 Aug, 2020 @ 12:51pm
Ah finally found a way to dispose my riches when i can't make molotoves yet.
Suggestion for the dubs bad hygene mod: make the water connected with the drop zone polluted for at least a period of time from when the thing is dropped, peak littering etic
Fllo 10 Apr, 2020 @ 10:46am
Its fine lol
[56e] Adda  [author] 10 Apr, 2020 @ 10:23am
Ah, fair enough. I don't know anything about SCP so I didn't get it. My bad. Sorry :)
Fllo 10 Apr, 2020 @ 10:15am
It's an SCP joke
[56e] Adda  [author] 8 Apr, 2020 @ 1:52pm
@Empty Hello, I am not sure I understand you. What exactly is your problem here? Bodies will just vanish when you drop them on the water. Just as any other item in the game, that can be dropped. That is a feature, not a bug.
Fllo 8 Apr, 2020 @ 11:39am
I do not recognise the bodies in the water
CurrentlyFapping 11 Mar, 2020 @ 5:23am
Thanks for updating this
[56e] Adda  [author] 28 Feb, 2020 @ 12:44pm
I have updated this mod to 1.1. I hope everything will work just fine though if not, let me know in the discussion and I will try to do my best to fix any bugs that might occur. Enjoy this fantastic game, folks :)
[56e] Adda  [author] 15 Oct, 2019 @ 10:50am
If you have no water on your map, you can't use Drop Spot. That is just how this mod is made.
14 Oct, 2019 @ 11:15am
I mean, how do you use terrain without water?
[56e] Adda  [author] 14 Oct, 2019 @ 7:53am
Well, then you can't drop on water, right? :D
13 Oct, 2019 @ 2:02am
no water
[56e] Adda  [author] 12 Oct, 2019 @ 11:35pm
@championLL, What "water" terrain type do you have on your map?
12 Oct, 2019 @ 10:00am
My terrain has no deep water...
12 Oct, 2019 @ 10:00am
Can you bring your own deep water?
[56e] Adda  [author] 9 Aug, 2019 @ 2:49am
@Karmapowered, that is brilliant to hear. Thank you very much for your kind words and I wish you a nice time spent with Rimworld :)
Karmapowered 8 Aug, 2019 @ 1:09pm
I want to take the time to report that your update works perfectly for me. That's only fair since you had the kindness to take the time to look into my request.

It's marvellously slooow (and balanced with the rest of DBH's features!) to get the whole sludge to, erm, evacuate, I like it. I swear I can see disgusting smirks on some of the faces of my colonists while they're working on it, but shush... no one has seen anything.

In a word (or a couple), thank you very much.
[56e] Adda  [author] 5 Aug, 2019 @ 12:47pm
@Karmapowered, Well, I have updated my mod to accept Fecal Sludge as well as other Dubs Bad Hygiene "waste" items. Could you try it out to see if everything works fine? It worked for me but one can never be too sure ;) Thank you for a nice suggestion. Have fun with my mod.

@[SNK] Riplyn, I have changed the name of "Drop spot" to "Sink spot" as you suggested. Will see if people will like it. If not, I will change it back but I believe this one is better... But will wait a bit to see other one's opinion :)
Karmapowered 5 Aug, 2019 @ 3:24am
Since "crimes against humanity" are already an option in this game, "crimes against mother Nature" should be too. Vengeance of the storytellers for defacing their planets and the ultimate demise of the inconsiderate colonists would be only more warranted.

More seriously, since I often play on river maps, your mod is already useful to me, and will be even more with this feature, at least till I can build a better alternative to evacuate those smelly barrels. No pressure, and thank you very much for looking into this ^.^
[56e] Adda  [author] 4 Aug, 2019 @ 1:14pm
@☭ Tonegawa The Soviet ☭, I tried to learn how to code mod settings to add an option to set auto-strip but I have to give up. I simply can't code in C#. So, in the end, I decided to make an alternate version with an auto-strip option already set. Would that be good enough? I am sorry I can't make it in one version but it is just too hard for me :)
[56e] Adda  [author] 4 Aug, 2019 @ 1:04pm
@Karmapowered I will look at it tomorrow. Hope I will find a solution for this. It sounds reasonable to me that you should be able to drop this as well. Thank you for supporting. Hope you will enjoy this mod :)
Karmapowered 4 Aug, 2019 @ 10:32am
Is there a way to set this mod up to unload "fecal sludge" of Dubs Bad Hygiene mod ? Unless I'm mistaken, it doesn't look like it's possible right now.

Thank you for keeping the mod alive and updated.
[56e] Adda  [author] 25 Jul, 2019 @ 8:03am
@Nomadic Crematory auto-strips corpses in the base game now? I tried it right now and it does not work... It is a mod that does that but that is all ( Cremate Auto Strip ). But yes, it shouldn't be a much of a problem to code auto-strip. I just don't know how to add this function as an optional toggle to mod settings.
