Simple, but interesting little mission.

Thanks for making it.

Hi, must be missing something, but I just subscribed and I don't see any download links or button? Any help would be welcome, thx! Cheers

@Aseliot Use the thermals bro, makes finding them a lot easier. Especially since everything else is just pitch black and the SF guys are bright white.

Nice idea but i would've expected somekind of ambush also I can't find the camp no idea where it is and the av was powering off?

Good mission. I am not good at UAV control, so the SF troops got away, but next time they will suffer. :)

Haha just watched Hurt Locker and played this expecting more i guess. Some suggestion if i may, otherwise great stuff!! Thanks for making it.:
1. Place additional mines not spotted by waypoints
2. Possible ememy treats along route?
3. Waypoints that intel has seen mines should be a where-abouts and not where they actually are to make the mission a bit more difficult.

@dr.strangepete - thanks for your feedback. The mines are randomly placed, just not the actual task destinations (this would be very difficult to code). Also I thought about placing some randomly spawned mines across the MSR which is easy to code but this would just be annoying imho - it would force you to literally drive at 2mph along the MSR. Anyway glad you enjoyed it. Check out my other missions if you are interested in stuff with similar quality.

i enjoyed this. i agree with other comments that the song is good, but overused; also would be cool if mines were randomly placed for replayability, or a few random placements not identified by uav.

altis next deployment?

Welcome to the Hurt Locker.

Great Idea. Never seen something like this. I like the setting. Hoping for another mission like this in a larger town on Alits. Maybe with civilians. Great job!

Mission was really fun. Good choice of music, but maybe more radio tracks would be cool. Keep up the good work.

@ManolloB, glad you enjoyed it. I don't believe the laser designator on the drone can help with mortar, it must be used to estimate the position of the enemy, good job using the road - that is what you would do in a real life situation! Congrats.
Manollo 25 Sep, 2013 @ 3:00pm
Really cool mission, thanks for sharing.
That was hard to precisely detect the infantery position for mortar. No idea if the drone laser designator could help me. So I helped with the road.

@Gnarly cheers mate and thanks for your early testing over in the BIS forums. As you can see I implemented some of your suggestions. Hope the music was to your taste!

Nice work mate, I like the new touches and additions, and the in-car radio is neat too!
