unfortunately the bottom of the canal is shimmering through the water like the vanila ones.

@LordBatarro
Please be patient. I too use the mod, and while the canals themselves work fine, I too experience the repeating Nullreference error. This is due to mods that are currently incompatible with the new dlc. Many fantastic modders are working hard to fix/update their mods to the new game version. I hope that most issues will be fixed in the next couple of days

'Canal Tiny Basin' and 'Canal Basin' keep failing once I open my world. Not sure if a problem with my pc or mod error after the update? Keep getting this error repeating when I open save....

@Karistanza That is true, altough be careful using this method as resetting the see level will flood everything that is below see level, even in-land valleys, which can be a pain to clean up

So, when you let it flood, there's another mod on the workshop but I can't remember the name of it but it allows you to place water sources and adjust the sea level. When you select the water source placement tool, a toolbox comes up in the bottom left with a "reset to sea level" button. When you unpause the game, have that tool selected and then just press "reset to sea level" when it floods and the water will disappear almost instantly. Alternatively, you could lower the sea level before doing any of the steps and raise it afterwards to avoid flooding. This mod is good for recreating places like Ely.
