For the people who has issue with this mod,I found a solution recently,you have to uninstall the "Muzzle Flash fix"mod if you have it installed,there may have some other mod that conflict with this mod,but this is the only mod that I found caused the issue, after uninstall "Muzzle Flash fix" mod this mod just works perfectly fine for me.Also some other particle mod works as well

so: i install the mod. Particles fine, next day, normal hl2 particles. I blame gmod updating.

Hi, does this come with sounds? If so, I suspect there is a bug, cause when i hit something with a crowbar it plays a sound of a bullet hitting someone, its like bloody and everything

I've also deleted the bloodimpact.pcf file Matt said to delete.

Doesn't work. At all. I tried disabling everything but this mod and the materials and it worked then, but I was missing out on another 600 addons. I have looked through 25 pages of addons numerous times, and I have made sure I have no other particle, blood, or any type of mod that would conflict with this one, as for some reason, something is fucking up my game and there are no blood impacts, not even the default HL2 ones.

why do i have to reinstall the mod everytime i start up the game for the particles to work

If you have a content folder in your addon folder and this mod doesn't work then here is a step by step tutorial on how to fix it:
1. Go to your addons folder in steam/steamapps/common/GarrysMod/garrysmod/addons
2. Open your content folder and go to particles folder inside your content folder
3. Delete the bloodimpact.pcf file and restart gmod
