Sorry for so much talk, but i love this mode :D I solved! I put the event in the game directly and work. Perhaps compatibility issues?

Maybe the mod isn't even downloaded or activated properly, sometimes when downloading on workshop it takes several restarts for new mods to even work .

It happens instantly when u load in, i even tested it today to see if it was broken and it seems to be fine.

Sure! I play a custom character in italy and few mod. How many days do I have to wait for event buff?

You sure you aren't actually playing as Charlemagne? It only applies for AI after all, there is no reason for it not to start otherwise.

@Gettin' Iggy Wit It When you subscribe to a mod you have to sometimes restart your launcher and make sure its enabled, and sometimes its still not downloaded, so i usually restart the launcher few times, and yes some events happen at start and others later.

@raguel I didn't notice what you said in December sorry, but you shouldn't run into any compatibility issues, none of mod's files change anything in vanilla but are just addons, you can add it to any mod you want if you put credit where credit is due, and for other mods too. The recent patch i made optimized the events and made use of on_actions.

Hey I'm sorry I forgot to ask you: I'm looking to make the mods I play with compatible with the community patch mod. I'd like to use parts of your mod to combine with the other mods so they are all in one compatible folder for upload.

@raguel The new patch i made has toned down the conquest a little bit, although every run is still random because compare to real life where there was more peace, ingame its either kill or be killed in Iberia.

Is it possible to make another version that's a bit toned down? In my games starting in 769 Christians (I'm assuming through reconquista events but I don't know for sure) take over all of Iberia by 850 or so.

in 769 there already is a character from the Iniga dynasty, and as the event adds a new character which is unconnected, it breaks the dynastic tree.
