Does this work on 1.49?
Eddie Yantz  [author] 4 Dec, 2023 @ 8:56pm
This mod will work with Frkn64's mod if you enable this mod above his.
Try his mod alone, then try both together (mine above); there will be a difference.
Use whichever you prefer.

I don't use VR; thanks for info.
I have observed in screen-play, raising horizon locking factor decreases effects of this mod.
Alyxandra Vance 31 Aug, 2022 @ 11:47am
Horizon locking factor automatically adjusts the cockpit camera when you are traversing hills and doesn't affect VR at all

There's some comparisons on youtube that show Default, RHM and NeckFx.
I think Dan Suzuki made a decent video about the plugins that maybe useful to you regarding View Angles and Horizon and Apex Locks
(v)1GHTY )v(4V$ 6 Jun, 2022 @ 11:31am
Horizon Lock isn't necessarily VR only but has certain effects.
In Assetto Corsa there's several options that simulate head movement. usually you have the bumps obviously but vertical and horizontal g-forces are a bigger factor on speed and brake. Also with the Horizon Lock you had by default the Eyes always in the middle of the horizon line and the viewpoint shifts around it. Because this isn't realistic on higher forces and because the inner ear is making constant adjustments there's a real headmotion plugin that has a bit of sway to the look to horizon so it deviates and isn't 100% static where everything else moves around the Horizon Lock Center. There's also look to apex which turns the head to steering motion and is written especially for look to corner apexes. You won't have the same speeds where this really shows for the trucks but the Horizon Lock still applies altough it is very mild in a daily work traffic.

Sie, auch :)
Moin.

Now, I know what mean this Indoor camera horizon focus factor. And yes, was so similar like Oculus. Only a head how it move, if wheel turns bit to left or right.

Thank you for tipp. Have a good day. :bigups:
Eddie Yantz  [author] 10 May, 2022 @ 3:37pm
I suspect 'horizon lock' applies mostly to virtual-headset users (e.g., Oculus).
Eddie Yantz  [author] 10 May, 2022 @ 3:31pm
Good question . . I haven't yet figured out exactly what horizon locking factor does. I have tried several settings, but saw no difference. I have set mid-slider for now. When I learn more, I'll comment.
If I understood about "Physical camera movement factor".
And what about "Indoor camera horizon focus factor"?

Eddie Yantz  [author] 24 Apr, 2022 @ 4:50am
I was unaware. I'll look into it thanks.
Noshy3 23 Apr, 2022 @ 9:10pm
Not sure if there is a way to simulate this in the game, but american truck cabs are attatched with hinges in the front and have air ride in the back so they should only move in the back. the front should be stationary. Again I'm not sure if it is possible to emulate this.

Thanks Eddie. :104:

You do know that if you deactivate all mods, except the ones you want to keep that don't require updates, you can keep running the the profile most important to you. Then add in the mods you want. ;) I just did this to keep my longest running profile going.... 1125 deliveries.

Thanks. Let me know when you're ready to try more phyisics; I have published a more comprehensive physics mod :)
Ashes 19 Apr, 2021 @ 12:15am
I admit to not playing with physic's mods much, but trusting Eddie's quality of mod's, I thought I'd give this a try. Following his display of setting up the Physical camera movement settings...I haven't had so much fun in ages...lol...especially with a 600hp Detroit in my Freight-shaker...too much fun :) Many thanks Mr. Yantz.
