Yes, they are entirely incompatible, so you'll have to turn that off.

My favorite submod, please someone pick it up and keep updating it. And why does Denmark does not have any trade posts in his de-jure land? Isn't Jutland and Zealand important duchies. Two routes end in Denmark but they don't can't build trade posts in any de-jure land. Seems a bit strange. Also thanks for your hardwork this long time.

I'm done with modding, so I'll let someone else update it. AFAIK only 00_scripted_triggers.txt and possibly static_modifiers.txt need to be updated

Well. I'm not really sue what else I'm able to add. I was running the game. Downloaded the new file from the link and added it to the mod folder. Started it back up, and the council was broken. Went back, unchecked it, and it was fine. Came here, read the comments, doubled checked that I was using Golden4. That was all good, but I did a redownload and setup just to be sure. Went back in and still have the issue.

[UPDATE] Nevermind, I'm an idiot. Forgot to check my version of HIP, realized this 30s after posting. I had Golden3. Updated to Golden4 and I'm all good.

I've an odd issue where, while this mod is active, I can't assign commanders, Marshals or Court Chaplains. The game tells me there are no eligible candidates. Deactivate this mod and I'm good.

Context:
-I have downloaded the mega version in the description.
-This has happened with several different cultures/religions so it seems to be a universal issue between the lot of them.
-In my mods list I have
• A Bigger Interface for HIP
• More Navigable Rivers HIP
• Republic Equality HIP
• Enhanced Raiding
• No Ahead of Time Penalty
• Trait Softcap Exterminated
• And of course, your mod HIP Expanded Trade

Does anyone else have this issue?

Perhaps I have some sort of conflict, though I don't know how this mod in any way would affect eligible council members and commanders...

Dont work. Downloaded from steam and with HIP Golden4 only. Checked both mods in launcher, but in game don't have any new trade routes. Also checksum don't change with or without your mod.
