Remove the update folder in the games files, try again, quit, then put the update folder back

This bugged my game alot
Upon typing that command in console, my game crashes and fails to rebuild audio cache, now the gun sounds and character voice lines are gone because of it
any help?

you need either GCFScape or Crowbar to extract the files

no as long as you can open it. but let the bar load up, type in "quit" go back in the game then it would work.

I can open the console with f8, and i use the comand snd_rebuildaudiocache 2 time, Is necesary opened the console with ~?

I done all but the mod dont work, when I open the game and I start a map the voice is not a inkling, what i do wrong? (sorry if you dont understand my englsih xd)

you do then open the console then type in snd_rebuildaudiocache let the bar load up then type in quit. open the game up again then done.

seems like you have to put the files on (steamapps)/Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/sound/player/survivor/voice/producer instead

Use GCFScape to extract the files then grab the files you extracted and put them in steam/steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead/sound/player/survivor/producer then load up the game then Open the console using "~" then type in snd_rebuildaudiocache and let the bar fill up, the console will come back, then type in "quit" go back in the game then it will work. Then just quit the game, load it back up then it will work. Simple.
